And fluffypants -- you have done all of that SINCE THE THIRD?!?!  Shocked  Holy cannoli.

I surprised myself! I work full time but it's so nice to unwind with crafts afterwards. Smiley

QueenNinjaMonkey - are you looking for more bottlecaps still? We have a lot and you're welcome to some if you'd like!

fluffypants -- What a lot you've gotten done.  Did you use a pattern for the purses/bags?

I use the Buttercup Bag pattern, but leave off the button flap and strap. They're really easy once you get the hang of it! Here's the link: http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern/

Very cool necklace!

Here's a really bad photo of what I've made since the 3rd:

Far left in the front is 3 pillowcases (2 from Beatles fabrics, one from blue and red cotton fleece)
In the front, 3 paisley clutches, 3 black and yellow clutches, and 2 blue and white floral clutches
In the middle, 2 draft snakes, filled with rice (our house is warmer already!)
Back left is 2 heating pads made with leftover rice
And back right is a fabric basket which will hold my friends' birthday gift tomorrow!

And in the very back is one of the kitties, Mirabel, checking out the goodies. Smiley

Feels good to destash fabric!

Holy impressive organization, Batman! That is beautiful!

Also, reposting from 50 projects, all of my goodies this year so far have been made from stash!

Everyone's cleaning stories are inspiring! I think rather than jumping into crafting this weekend, I might tackle cleaning my craft room. It's not in the worst shape it's ever been in, but it's nearly impossible to craft in regardless. I bought a door for the room with a big window in it, and have been putting off installing it because the room is so much of a mess I don't want to be able to see into it from the hallway. So, I think my goal should be to clean the room to a presentable state, and get that darn door on!

Then, like others have mentioned, I'll also know what I have in my stash that I will actually use, and what I'm able to get rid of. It all sounds so good right now - hopefully I'm this motivated when I start cleaning! Smiley

Looks awesome! Definite improvement from a ceiling fan. Smiley

I was trying to think of what to add to my list yesterday. As I was sewing up some draft snakes, I looked over in the corner at the jukebox I bought two years ago, and thought... maybe that needs a cozy. But not just any cozy. One that LOOKS like the jukebox. Complete with all the stitched title cards for the song names. Am I crazy...? A giant felt cozy/dustcover for a 1978 Seeburg jukebox.

In any case, I don't think that's something that will happen within the year, but I'm giving it some thought...

Ohhh, the ninni is adorable!! A ninni is one of the items on my list, but I can't decide who to make!

I'm loving this thread so far. It's so inspiring to actually have a goal! Usually I just putter on this or that. Just since Friday, I've pulled out a project I'd been meaning to get to but haven't (in 2+ years) and started it. I completed (start to finish) 7 sewn items (3 clutches, three pillowcases, and a fabric basket), finally did a second cast on some resin items that have been waiting since last Christmas, and prepped a canvas for a painting.

Yay creativity! Juices are flowing. Wheels are turning. WIPs are getting done. Feels good! Wish I didn't have to go back to work tomorrow - at least now I'm anxious to craft in the evenings rather than watch TV or sit around on the computer!

I'm excited that a lot of my de-stashing fits in with the 50 projects craftalong as well! Tonight I used up some fabric by making a fabric basket instead of buying a gift bag for my friends' birthday this week. I'm already thinking about what to make next! Cheesy

These are awesome! The Star Trek one is my fave - I ogle that fabric every time I see it for sale, but have never had a reason to get any. Maybe once I do a little of my own stash busting I'll need some new prints...
