I received a heap of amazingness from aheartofglass the other day! So much awesome. Cheesy

First up, an amazing butterfly wing pendant with matching earrings. I had one of these on my Pinterest - so pretty!

Next, two "melted" bottles - again, something from my Pinterests - I don't drink but I love the Corona one as a little cutting board or serving tray - or spoonrest! I think I'll use it for something at my boyfriend's birthday party this week.

Adorable hair clips made by her cousin! I love the peace sign ribbon.

Plus, an amazing pile of assorted extras - gum in fun boxes, a cute chicken magnet (I've always loved that line - "I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned"), a couple cards by a friend of hers, Yumbots cupcake molds, herb scissors that I've been drooling over forever (they have 5 blades so you can chop up herbs really quickly Smiley), a Peace Junkie sticker, and two awesome coasters! I was ogling the Etsy shop these are from awhile ago, they make coasters out of old 45's that have poor sound quality. I adore them! I want to figure out how to make them so I can make a nice big set. Wink

Thanks so much Cindy, this parcel was AMAZING!

This sounds fun - and I've been making lots of pillow covers lately. Would anyone be interested in receiving felt pillow covers something like these with different characters? (Sorry - this is the best pic I have access to at work!)

I received my angel dotee from blupaisan today - sadly he's missing an eyeball. Ouch!!
Meet "Forever in Blue Jeans" Neil, visiting his lifelike lookalike. Wink

Thanks blupaisan!

I received the most amazing Mr. Dressup dotee from stove037 today. I love it! It's getting a place of honour when I have my own craft room, as I like to think Mr. Dressup is part of the reason I love crafting so much today. Wink

For those of you who don't know who Mr. Dressup is (or who his puppet pals, Casey and Finnigan are) here's a pic:

The charms on the bottom are the "Tickle Trunk" where Mr. Dressup stored all his costumes, and Wise Owl! All the Canadian kids say it with me now... too-whit, too-whit, too-whooooooo!

Thanks stove037!

All three of the dotees I sent have been received, so I couldn't resist posting this group shot! Smiley Harry hasn't popped up in the gallery yet, so this is his debut. Wink

I had a blast with this swap!

I received my first dotee today from Rosie1981- gotta love Dali!

I lost my camera cord so I tried to take an artsy photo against a Dali print with my webcam. Hilarious mishaps ensued, and the following photo - after a few minor Photoshop touchups. Wink

Thanks Rose, he's adorable - I especially love the flowers on his moustache. Smiley

I finally got photos of my goodies from Petskin! First I didn't have one item at home, then my camera just about croaked... so I decided I'd best take them quick! Unfortunately that means the photos aren't so great - but the super cute Moomin goodness makes up for it. Smiley

First up - Snufkin slippers!

Next - an adorable Snufkin change purse which will reside in my Snufkin shoulder bag!

A lovely Snufkin notebook, still deciding what to use it for. On the inside it says "I'll come when it suits me," which may very well mean it's destined to be a day planner/event organizer. Wink

And last but not least, a gorgeous purpley desk organizer with my favourite picture of Sniff! So cute.

I do hope there's another Moomin swap in the future. Thanks so much, Petskin!

And thanks for organizing, Sylvanna!

19  Re: 12 Days of Christmas 2010 Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by fluffypants on: December 03, 2010 01:22:47 PM
On the twelfth day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me.... GOBS! (or as I know them, whoopie pies!)

These are delish, and as I opened them early I've been taking them to work as mid-morning treats every day! Wink

On the eleventh day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me...

Earring supplies!! Sweet! Just a few hours before I opened, I found a bunch of charms and buttons I'd bought last year to make earrings out of, but I had no hooks or backings. These came at the perfect time!

On the tenth day of Christmas, the post office didn't take very good care of my surprise. Sad Some wacky utensils, a sandwich cutter and pizza plates! Sweet!

On the ninth day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me... earring day!

On the eighth day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave me 8 super cool pillowcases which I can't wait to have theme rooms for! Wink Hehehe.

On the seventh day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me.... seven fun crocheted and knitted items!
I love the little Pee Wee and Chairy, but the candy button scarf is definitely my favourite!

On the 6th day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me... random day!
A cute Bob-omb drawstring bag, a PacMan necklace, a bunch of cute yummy soaps, bath bombs and lip balm, and a hat (which sadly is too small for my ginormous head, but might fit my mom!)

On the fifth day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me the best day yet! Sing it with me.... fiiiive Wisty t-shirts! I laughed so hard when I pulled the Engrish one out of the package ("I hate myself and I want to die").

This one's my favourite, I wore it to work today. Cheesy

On the fourth day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me... kit day! I can't WAIT to start learning embroidery, needle felting and crochet - and I definitely want to make some cinnamon doughnut soaps soon!

On the third day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me... a hamburger box, cheeseburger pillow set (can't wait to stuff these!) and a Christmassy record bag!

On the second day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me... a monster bag & thread catcher, and a felted Jack Sparrow style tricorn hat! Sweet!

The pic doesn't do the hat justice, it's quite cool!

On the first day of Christmas, sarahj2001 gave to me.... a super bright wacky sweater! It's a little small, but I should be able to stretch it. So funky! Can't wait to wear this to work. The colours in the pic are pretty washy, it's super colourful in person!

Thanks so much sarahj2001! It's been a blast!

I received these beauties from darkangelwingz- they're marking pages in one of my favourite creative books - the Packaging Designer's Book of Patterns - all dielines for displays and boxes.

And this cute magnetic one arrived from Lady Pistola- this one's residing in "Cupcakes Galore". Cheesy
