1  Re: Strawberry Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Chincha on: October 27, 2008 11:16:19 AM
I know well that you're all probably fed up with my pics... But no, it's not your lucky day! Cheesy I found one more picture (of a sadly poor quality) which shows the apron that I sent to Demekah (folded) and on top of it (i know, it's really hard to see) there's a cup cozy like this one:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_gallery_1&listing_id=16638152
but in red-with the keychain thingy and an elastic band and everything...

The little orange hearts are at the ends of apron tie-up strings.
I promise, that's it! Cheesy

hmmmm... what about everyone else?
I wanted to show a few things I've sent to Demekah, since she hasn't posted anything yet. I hope that she made some better photos and she would post them...
So, here it goes!
There are all things together, lacking the apron I sewed (which was inspired by this apron from Demekah's wists), but was made from one of the fabrics you can see below, printed in yellow-to-red strawberries and hemmed with red ruffled fabric. It looked cute and kind of housewifey-vintage... I hope that Demekah will find time to post pictures of it.
The rest of the stuff:

This is a polymer clay bracelet, with all sorts of strawberry cakes

This is a pair of strawberry earrings

A pair of strawberry hairclips and a felt strawberry cupcake keychain

A pin with a rainbow strawberry

Set of little soaps, of which the pin ones have a strawberry scent to them, the other ones are just for fun Smiley And a detail on the bigger soap: a darker heart in the middle! (I really loved this swap!)

Oh, and the goodies!

3  Birthday cake for a cute 1 year old boy! in Dessert by Chincha on: October 12, 2008 01:28:44 AM
Hi!
As I was lurking on craftster yesterday, I couldn't find any birthday cakes that had a number 1 on top-to inspire me for the cake I had to make- something cute and blue for a simple round cake. So I made this in the end and I hope it could be an inspiration for somebody else. Here it is!

Sorry, I haven't got any action pics yet...
Thanks a lot for checking it out!

Hi everyone!
Yay, now we can show off the goodies we got! Cheesy
This is the package, which I got from my lovely partner Demekah:
This is everything together: (on the left, there's a cute little serving tray-which already got it's function in my dorm room! )

This is a lovely tote bag, which has lovely strawberries all over it and is fully lined with the tiny polka dot fabric that you see on top:

Cute coasters made from the same fabric as the tote:

Goodies goodies! I must say that both were sooooo delicious!

5  Colorful stars mobile in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Chincha on: October 09, 2008 05:02:43 AM
Hi!
I just wanted to show something I made for my bf's nephew. He is the cutest kid ever and you should see him smile as he watches these colorful stars dance around  Grin Makes your heart sing Smiley Te stars are made form soft felt, coloured with non-toxic colour and stuffed with cotton. So if he ever wants to reach up and pull them down amd play, that won't cause a threat to his health. Sorry about the crappy mobile phone pisc though Smiley

6  Summer-inspired :D in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Chincha on: April 16, 2008 02:59:29 AM
soooo... This is my first post Cheesy Yay!
Some of the clothes you see below are reconstructed, and some are made from scratch. I'm terribly sorry for the camera quality of the photos- i hope that you can still see what's on them  Grin
As I can't post pictures yet, you will probably have to use a link to my gallery:

This is a knee-length dress that I made from stretch jersey and kind of improvised all the way through.. You can probably see that it's pretty poorly sewn, but it'll do for a simple summer/beach dress I think.

This was made from a Gap long-sleeved t-shirt that was a size xs (i wear m, so i could not put it on at all). I chopped off the sleeves and used one of them as the front line that goes downwards. Before i attached the front thing to the rest of the shirt, i embroidered it with silver thread to make small loops and abstract figures. Then I just sewed it on and hemmed the whole thing with a silver zig-zag stitch.
(Model: a duct-tape me Cheesy)
