1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / making my own laundry hamper/bag... can you help??? on: June 01, 2008 11:44:01 PM
hi craftsters

so today i finally found out the truth about my tsubi jeans that were mia - my step sister had taken my clothes from my closet yet again!!!!!!!!!! i'm so annoyed as she has only been living here for 2 months and its the second time she's gone into my room and taken my clothes from my closet without asking...  Angry

anyhow i am now wanting to make a laundry hamper/bag so that the only times she will ever see my clothes is when they are on the line being dried or on me.

can you help me??? has there been any tutes on here for any as i wasn't able to find any that i liked when i went shopping today.

thanks

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Denim vest from jeans on: May 20, 2008 05:50:09 PM
this was a uni group assessment we did

our task was to recycle jeans to make a vest. the jeans we used were a really light blue so they have been dyed and then we designed the vest we wanted to make. i love the vest!!!

oh and we decided on a glam rock look for the vest (our design brief was that it was being displayed at a craft fair and it needed embelishment - our group went for functional embelishments along with decorational)

i hope u love it as much as me...

if you do please hit the 'this rocks' symbol!

this is a link to the jeans we started with

this is one of the working pictures - you can see here how we fitted the garment and the colour of the jeans prior to dyeing.
