I have to make one of those turtle beanies! I am so in love with it. My niece would just die!

Did you make it up as you went or did you buy a pattern?

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Headbands and Korkers ! YAY! ( Img Obese) on: November 23, 2008 09:21:35 AM
I agree, these are really cool, and I'll add my voice to the inquiry of how you do the weaving... They're pretty cute. (I especially like the picture with your boyfriend wearing one. Smiley ) Great job!

They're cool. How do you do the weaving?

thanks Ya'll. I actually purchased some instructions through a girl on a bow forum. They are really good! There might be some free ones out there but i'm not sure where. Smiley

I use those pictures as collateral just in case he makes me mad.LOL!

Those would look adorable on my girls!

Thank you. I put some of them on my etsy if you want to check them out.

Every little girl can pull off a bow but my favorite about making these is I can pull off the headbands without coming off too childlike lol

SO I've fallen in love with making woven headbands to match the korkers I make. I even made a Valentine's day one because I love Christmas and Valentine's day the most! Oh yeah and I got to play around in Photoshop which I haven't done in approx. 6 months so it was lots of fun cropping and editing and using some of those cool fonts i've found!

Check em out!

This one I made to match my niece's bday shirt. I added the bling b/c well who doesn't want some bling these days?

Holly Jolly Holidays..

Look It comes apart so they can be worn separately! ( I love that part lol)

And for good measure.. me making DBF try it on.. because well It made me laugh.
He was not pleased.

And Of course you gotta have candy canes for Xmas!

I know it's early but Valentine's Day Is only a couple holidays away!

Hope you guys like them!!
