911  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: I love Resin(image crazy) on: May 28, 2008 08:34:48 PM
Drills can be found in a lot of places--try either building stores (like Home Depot) or giant all purpose stores (like Target). You probably actually want a dremel tool, which is basically a smallish drill (at least, that's the impression I get). However, if you don't want to get a drill, you can try screwing in the eye screws before the resin has completely cured (as mentioned earlier).

I get resin on my hands more often than I'd like to admit, and I just try to get it off as soon as possible. I should really wear gloves.  Roll Eyes
912  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing Offer-What-You-Have Swap - May08 on: May 28, 2008 03:59:57 PM
I'd like the London Tube buttons (I can't believe no one has claimed them yet!), the half yard of white fabric, and the fat quarter of shawl fabric.

This is my 1st Claim
Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 1

Aaand here is my list:

Two unopened Pirates of the Caribbean sets--one has two magnets, a sticker, and a skull patch. The other has six magnets. Both things together count as one claim.

The rest of these are things I made myself when I was just starting to play with resin. You can take any two for your claim:

Dinosaur pendant

Glitter Sprinkles Pendant

Hamburger Pendant

Leaf Magnet

Seahorse Magnet
913  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: My Country Doesn't Have That Round 11 on: May 27, 2008 11:03:57 PM
I'm from the States and I just love getting things from other countries. Depending on the timing, I would try my best to get in on it.
914  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Craft my major/minor swap? on: May 27, 2008 11:02:14 PM
I can't believe more people haven't responded--this sounds like a totally awesome swap idea. I approve wholeheartedly.
915  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Daydreams, tea parties and whimsy: A Dress. (heavy on adventure and pictures on: May 27, 2008 10:51:13 PM
Amazing fabric choice--I didn't know it was originally bedsheet until you mentioned it.  Roll Eyes The way you placed the fabric (e.g. the more patterned part around the bottom) is just wonderful. Good job!
916  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My Wedding Dress - a bit late!!! on: May 27, 2008 10:48:05 PM
My god that is incredible. Maybe when my wedding rolls around I will have the courage to sew my own.. but I doubt it. Good job!
917  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Nu-Rave weddign dress on: May 27, 2008 10:46:46 PM
Very cool, and like everyone else I'm putting in my wish for more schools to have textiles courses. I totally would've taken one, given the opportunity.
918  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Lolita-woll-winter-coat! on: May 27, 2008 10:45:21 PM
That looks bloody amazing! I can't believe you've only worn it twice--if I made a coat like that, I'd wear it every day (including summer).  Grin
919  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: I'm back on craftster! With 8 new dresses! on: May 27, 2008 10:36:58 PM
8 is amazing. It's very cool that you made it up yourself, but it makes me sad because I want to go buy the pattern and I can't.  Wink

That is so ridiculously amazing. Someday I will have the courage to pin things together and just start sewing. Until then, I will just be jealous of your awesomeness.
