Just so I don't spam the thread....how many pictures would be too many to share my progress of my house? I have 6 >.>
Yeah, bring on the pictures!!  We are all craving views of other people's work - it's so inspiring!  On that note, I better get some pics off my camera and get them posted myself :-)

Yay! a link from this cute dollhouse room goes to Martha's instructions for making cafe chairs with champagne cork wire.  Perfect!

Ooh, love the shingles! Fabulous idea. That CD house is really cute. Where did you find that?
I agree with knickertwist, pictures of the faux wedding, please!

It was at Michaels for $5.99 before my 40% off coupon.  My Michaels didn't have any Creatology houses - the closest was a pirate ship. Smiley

I've got half my roof covered with pinecone 'shingles'. Here's a picture of the blank house I'm starting with - a 2 room CD holder:

Then some pine cone carnage as I pulled the shingles off (what's that part of the pine cone called, anyway?).  This was tough on the fingers, and involved cleaning up with goo-gone afterward.

And finally, half the roof.  You can see my shiny E6000, but I think it came out pretty well.  It wasn't easy gluing curved pieces to a flat roof, but I'm excited about my Borrowers' tree house  Smiley

just have to trim the edges yet....

Whew!  I just finished reading all these pages!  I've been admiring the other mini houses and rooms and cabinets everyone's been doing, and I wanted to do my own.  How did I miss the beginning of this craft-along?  Anyway, my Michael's didn't have any houses, but I wanted to start right away, so I bought a house-shaped CD tower that you're just supposed to decorate.  It has 2 rooms - one up and one down - so it'll be great for a beginner.  I'm also on a bit of a budget at the moment, so I'm thinking of doing a tree house theme - so I can use sticks, bark, pine cones, etc. Or maybe a 'Borrowers' theme - using stuff from around the house like *real* tiny people would.  Or maybe both?  A Borrower's Treehouse  Smiley  Here's hoping I don't have too much trouble with the walls and floors, since it's already put together.  I'll post pix as I get started.  Yay!

Very cute!  Do you know what kind of pug mix Mr. Wiggles is?  He looks a lot like my Hattie, who is a pug-jack russell.  Good luck with the business!

So, how did you preserve the mouse parts?  Or is this a temporary jewelry set?
