Well, with the exception of his jacket and his sword, I've managed to finish this guy after 4 months total, of either remaining dormant while I did other projects, or working like a slave on him. My question is...I want to do his sword...but I want to make it look real. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was half thinking clay...but it would be too heavy to have him still stand while it's on his back...or I was thinking crochet, but with embroidering the details.. Any other suggestions?
Alrigth so I looked for a "Children's completed items" Bit and couldn't find anything like that so I hope this is supposed to go here. It's crochet..and it's FINALLY a completed project! After like 3 weeks or heartwrenching failed attempts, I finally figured it out..check out how cute:)
Okay, I just got done posting these on crochetville so those of you who aren't on here..here's the scoop. I finally finished my baby moccasins. It took me about a week but considering I"m not working right now and have done any packing like I should have(I'm moving out of state in exactly two weeks), a week is still a long time. So here are the links... yay!
For those of you who aren't on crochetville , I thought I would post my Mary Janes here so that you can see. I finally figured out my own pattern and came up with a "bootie" that looks more like a real shoe that you would buy in the store. If you're interested, here are a couple pictures..
Sorry for all the links, I can't post pictures yet.
Yes, I know..I'm a nerd..I've come to terms with it
