25  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Lining a bag on: August 04, 2008 10:38:15 PM
ok so i had trouble with this too....

1. when you're sewing your outer fabric leave a hole in the process of sewing
2. you don't need a hole when sewing your lining
3. flip your outer and lining fabric
4. put the lining (flipped) inside the outer fabric (flipped)
5. sew the top
6. flip by pulling out the lining through the hole in the bag
7. put the lining into the bag
8. VOILA!

hopefully you could understand that  Roll Eyes

29  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Sewing with Vinyl... on: July 26, 2008 05:48:56 PM
What's the best way to sew using vinyl? I heard that it was hard to do...people say that the vinyl sticks together. I bought half a yard of vinyl. I'm gonna use it to make some pencil pouches. What's the best way for me NOT to mess up? What needle should I use? The vinyl is not very thick.
