Great job!  Is the turquoise band on the front functional, or is it for decoration or stability?

Hi,
Just wondering what the reactions were?  Have half the kids asked for pouches too?

I, too, dislike the puffy, VB style bags.  They remind me of those cheap-o ones on the end cap at the drug store!

Anyway, this diaper bag is wonderful, as is the series of photos of hubby!  Great job to both of you.

I love 'handmade' things, but when the word 'homemade' comes up, it sounds more, well, cheesy.  Great.  Can't wait to see your next creation.

I love this!  Cows are soooo cute, and this picture is great because they are peering at the viewer between the fence slats.

How cute!  I love the fabric.  Glad you are making something useful.  My DH takes his lunch every day.  I send fabric lunch bags rather than plastic.  I've used fabric sandwich bags I made, but never sent any in his lunch.  Did you put any kind of lining to keep the sandwiches fresh?

I'm sure he will love his gift.  Great job!

Those are very cute hobo bags.  I don't find anything offensive about your post, or anything about selling anything.

Keep up the good work.  Love seeing those bags, and I love kitties!

Those are really great, and will be appreciated.  I take my lunch to work most days and sometimes bring regular silverware because I don't like to use disposable anything.  I may try to make a silverware wrap like that.

Since I just started my job, I don't want to put too much time into Christmas gifts, but I will be making some notepad covers that are super easy.

Thanks for sharing.

I love all the Cath Kidston patterns.  She is awesome!

You did a beautiful job on the pouches.  What book is the pattern in?

Very nice!

When I make a travel wallet or anything that will carry a credit card or any card that has a magnetic strip on it, I do not use a magnetic snap as it will erase the strip on the card and then your card will not work.
Love the magnetic snaps ($$ though) but in this case I would stick to a button/loop regular snap, or Velcro.

Credit cards are pretty hard to wipe out, unless you put them on the counter where there is one of those de-magnetizers.  I have the large magnetic snaps on my handmade wallet and have had no problems with credit cards.

What is it that you think needs improvement?

I think it shows the emotion of the love your friend feels for her new baby.  It is spontaneous and raw.  If I were you, I'd just leave it like it is.

Interesting that it is in black and white.  That must have been harder to do than using colors.  It gives sort of a surreal feeling, like the people are there, but in another dimension.

I wouldn't change a thing.
