1  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Painted flowerpots on: May 11, 2009 11:30:18 AM

I finished these yesterday.  The first one has tattoo-style sparrows, a heart and stars, and the other one has a sugar skull.

I have a pot holder that holds four pots, I can't decide what to put on the other two.  Any suggestions?  I'd like to stick with the tattoo imagery type theme.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Boring, pullover black hoodie into exciting, zip-up, tattoo theme hoodie! on: January 21, 2009 08:42:52 PM
So this was originally a very plain, run of the mill black hoodie.  However, I am not a fan of pullover hoodies, so I hacked it, added a zipper, did a lot of embroidery by hand, and lined the hood.  Et voila!  A MUCH more interesting hoodie.

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Remade Ikea Lamp on: April 14, 2008 03:29:28 PM
So, I had one of those tall lamps from Ikea with a paper shade - I've tried to find it on the website, for a before, but I can't seem to find it.  Anyway, the original shade was destroyed last time I moved.  I held on to the lamp, figuring I would figure out something to do with it, and, ta-da - custom made new lampshade to match my living room  Grin

It goes much better now with my furniture than it did before, anyway.  Smiley
