1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / busy creating earrings on: March 23, 2010 10:29:03 AM
So to keep myself from stressing out I tend to make jewelry.  I find that making a pair of earrings is a nice quick fix.
Here are a few of my newest designs.

This pair was for a friend for St. Patty's day.

I love these, They are really fun to wear.

my turtle club earring and bracelet

these are made from the cork from a local brewery

Any comments are appreciated! Smiley

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / funky earrings- IMG heavy on: June 27, 2008 08:58:51 AM
It has been a while since I made earrings, So I am getting back into the swing of things and also trying some new techniques.  I have been ubber inspired by all the craftyness I see on Craftster.  Comments are greatly appreciated.  Thank you Smiley

My take on lego earrings.   Theses are one of my favorite pairs to wear.

I call theses the "Blue light Special".  The have tiny decorative light bulb shaped buttons and various beads.

This was the first pair of earrings I had made in years.  The bottom piece is a capacitor from an old motherboard that no longer functioned.

I love my new Donkey earrings.

Pink Elephants Smiley

Theses are not exactly even but I love wearing them and still get positive comments about them.  They are made from memory wire Smiley

Theses I made for a friend it was my first attempt with using drop loops.

Thank you for looking Smiley
4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Colorful Knee High Socks.. on: April 14, 2008 09:09:11 AM
Hello fellow Craftsters I have a large collection of knee high socks that have had there toes worn out.   Any ideas on what I could use the remaining fabric for?  It would pain me deeply to trash them.
Thank you much for any suggestions.
Have a great Monday!
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Star Struck Watch on: February 27, 2008 08:35:54 AM
This was my first try at making a beaded watchband.  I'm not really in love with it.  But I am curious to see what other people think.
I used a some swarovski crystal, pewter stars, hematite stars, black bicone beads.   Here is a link to the bracelet.
