How about starting with a Foaming Bath Butter?  http://rusticescentuals.com/Foaming-Bath-Butter-Base.html

I like this cream soap because it's Paraben free.

Here is a good site for beginners:  http://www.millersoap.com/

If you want to get creative and make melt & pour soap, here's a good site:  http://www.RusticEscentuals.com  and the Crafting Library: http://library.rusticescentuals.com/
7  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: can i add orange zest to M&P soap?? on: December 14, 2011 05:23:06 AM
Yes, you can add zest, but make sure it's dried - otherwise, you'll introduce bacteria into the mix.   Also, the zest will probably change the color of your soap.  Hope this helps.
