Your stencils look good. I think for your daughter's shirt you might want to try black ink on a light colored shirt next time. If you invert the picture to see what it would look like, it's very recognizable. She's very cute.
My old roommate left a crappy end table at the house when he moved out. I wish I could have taken 'before' pics. It was gross and covered with "weed rulez" stickers and had a horribly large tacky wooden knob.
I painted it red, covered the drawer in circular mirrors of different sizes, grouted in between them and added a new brushed metal handle.
The only problem I'm having is with the type of paint I used. It was some acrylic latex, maybe. Now when I set stuff on it...it has a tendency to stick and pull the paint off whatever I sit on it. Is there any type of sealant I should use to fix it? What type of paint should I use next time?
It's far from impressive, but it was done quickly and cake decorating is not my specialty. It was for my boss' b-day party at work. The theme was astronomy related. Everyone enjoyed it and that's all that counts, right?
This is my first post on craftster!! and my first stencil project!!
it's the furry love of my life, Tinkerbell. She's a beagle.
I was thinking of doing a little thought bubble and putting something in it like a milkbone painted gold or something since she looks like she is looking up, but who knows.
