This one is cheap, portable, and has all your protein/carbs/veggies all in one.
Perhaps it's just my sick sense of humor, but I first made these p after seeing Sweeny Todd.
Brown a pound of ground beef, drain.
Cut up 5-6 potatoes
A handful of carrots
and boil until soft.
Add meat, potatoes & carrots and add:
One cut up onion,
one smashed garlic clove,
half a package of frozen peas & onions, or any leftover veggies
about a cup of gravy, any kind
and an egg, and mix.
Make your favorite pie crust, make tiny pie shells (or put them in ramekins) and fill with the filling, bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. I sometimes use flattened biscuts instead of piecrust. This makes a lot and they are yummy!
