Mom of the year!  She looks darling, and so, so pleased with herself.  Smiley  You should be proud!

That is so sweet!  It looks like a little Modcloth or cute boutique dress.  Awesome job!
23  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Sewing pattern for baby sweater on: October 28, 2012 01:33:56 PM
Hi guys!  Long time no post!

I work for a sweater company, and have tons of old sweaters (acrylic mostly) that I want to make into baby sweaters for my 2 year old nephew.  I can't find anything online though!  The best I could find was 'take a baby sweater and use as a pattern' but I don't have one!  Does anyone know of a good tutorial or pattern online for a baby/toddler jacket or sweater?

I would go out and buy something but I'm cheap and can't leave my apartment on the train (thanks, Sandy! Angry )

Thanks, everyone!!

Wow!  That peacock dress is absolutely stunning.  I'm also a fan of the teal blouse.

Is the owl top silk screened on, or an applique?  I love the little owl, it's really cute and patterns set more towards the bottom of a shirt or blouse always catch my attention.  It looks very well done.

I'm really in love with the green Oriental top too.  I wish I had something like that (or had the body type to pull off that particular style)!  I bet the colors look fantastic in person.

Now you're prepared to look great no matter what social situation you find yourself in this winter!  My closet is totally envious. Grin  Keep up the good work, especially with those blue and green tones.  I love clothing in that color scheme.

Thank you!!!
I took an owl cookie cutter and traced it on to freezer paper, and use it as a stencil.  Then I backed the top with more freezer paper as stabilizer, to paint the branch and silver details on by hand. Very easy, just took a few steps.  All of these projects by themselves were very simple; I highly suggest making a collection of clothes like this!  Not hard at all!

That is incredible.  Was the coat felted, r did you felt it?  (I can't tell if it is or not)  I love the details and all the buttons.

These all look great, so professional!  Is the grey dress made of a sweater knit, or a regular jersey?  What's the green sweater made of, and how'd you get the collar to stand like that?

I really like how cozy, useful and neat your clothes look.   Smiley  And nice handstand!
