I made this for a friend at work who recently broke up with her BF of 5 years, to hopefully cheer her up a little. She's also a disney fanatic! needless to say, she loved it, and happily sports it on her keychain now
So I made this for my nephew for christmas. I originally had planned on crocheting him his moshi monster, but I couldn't find the right shade of green in fun fur, so I went with faux fir instead! This just about killed my 30+ year old singer! But he was totally worth it. My Nephew loves him!!! It's the fist time I've ever worked with fur. He was a pretty easy pattern to work up, seeing as how he's just a giant square But next time, I know not to stuff his feet before i sew them on......... I should already know this lol. I hand stitched the eyes and mouth on. I stuffed his lips before sewing to give them the puffy look. Any tips for working with fur would be greatly aprreciated! as I bought a whole yard of the green fur, plus some other colors (the fur was a remnant on sale for $17 instead of $30)
Here he is!
And here's my nephew after unwrapping him
i guess he's been sleeping with him every night. I just wish I could remember what his name was. Thanks for looking.
So, I made this for my big brother, mostly as a joke. he got a small deer this year, and so teasing, I crocheted him an "actual size" head of his deer ;P Needless to say, he really liked it I got the pattern from RoxyCraft, it's her rory the raindeer pattern, that you can find on her blog. Her pattern didn't have ears, so I added them, I think it looks better that way
The box I put it in lol (sisterly love at it's finest!)
I love the amineko and I believe this is the 3rd or 4th amineko I've made. I made this one for my nephew for christmas and he loved it. Orange his is favorite color and he loves cats, but sadly the poor guy is allergic to them. I always follow the pattern for the head and body, but always make the legs, arms and tail longer. Hope you all like him
And here is my nephew with his present
(he really was happy to get it, I know it doesn't look like it in the pic, but he liked it!)
These are the first projects that I have completed this year I really like the way they turned out. I got the clay fruit pieces off etsy. I got 100 canes for like $15, so I couldn't pass that up. I've had the glass pendants for a while, i had originally bought them to use as an altered scrabble pendant type thing, but the glass is frosted and doesn't work very well for what I had bought them for, but it works great for decoden! Would love some feedback to know what you all think.
group shot, and now a close up of each individual one
it's hard to see but I also used brown hot glue on the sides to give it a chocolate drizzle effect, and the macaroons aren't dirty, they're kind of a strawberry chocolate mix.
