That is really great.  Awesome job.  I have a pattern like that I plan on starting soon.  Silly college keeps getting in the way of my sewing.

Hey,
So nothing really ended up getting started b/c I think people are just too busy.  BUT there is a knitting/crocheting group that meets in Field outside Sweets n More on Wednesday nights.  I've been to the craft center and its so so.  They have a lot of really interesting stuff, but a lot of their supplies are pretty expensive as well which makes it really difficult for me to do much there b/c I'm a poor student.  Also its open kind of funny hours.  It closes at like 6 everyday.  And its not open Sundays.  Nights and weekends are really my free time so I haven't spent much time there.  But wow this is really long, good luck at Umass.

Wow that looks great!
I love when I get random compliments on stuff I've made from strangers.  Yeah that might sound lame but it makes me feel like I actually did a good job.

I have skein of lopi bulky that i bought one day just b/c I loved the color.
Has anyone here used a bulky yarn for theirs and would one skein of lopi bulky be enough?  its only 67 yards.  I might try it, if I do I'll post pictures of my results.

Its beautiful you really did a great job and its very unique.  And by the way zoogs sex wax you can buy it at any surf shop, put it on your feet where ever you usually get blisters and it helps a lot.  Haha maybe all of my random surfing knowledge is useful.

Oh I didn't get mine yet, but now I'm hopeful it'll be there this weekend.  I love vogue knitting, even though I always end up modifying something it is still full of such great places to start.

Awesome job, I especially like the first one.
I wish my classes didn't get in the way of having time to make stuff.  Silly college.

Nightlife would be cool b/c by the time I get out there I'll be 21.  Americorps is actually supposed to help me find housing.  But also info on shopping and crafty things or anything else anyone thinks might be helpful.  Thanks  Smiley
