http://This will be THE fourth grade project at my kids school for 80 munchkins.  Question Firefly - how did you attach wire to the top or is that metallic thread?

For everyone else that has done this -
Would pipe cleaners do well with 9 year olds?
What if you extend one piece of wire to use as the hanger?

Thanks Firefly, you have saved the day for this room parent Smiley

way to check my threads...it's been almost a year!
i used fishing line attatched to the top spiral.
i'm sure pipe cleaners would work fine with larger beads.
and it sounds like wire would work well for a hanger as well Smiley

and *bump* for the upcoming holiday season.

does anyone know if home made wheat paste keeps things together for the LONG haul? i mean, longer than a couple years.

i have a few made by friends that i've had for several years- 5 or 6.  and they're in good shape- no peeling.

hey Smiley  the second pic looks better...maybe you need more light- try taking pics outside or near a window.

also, you might think about selling your extras on etsy (if you don't end up wearing them or giving them as gifts).  they're too pretty to sit around unworn!
