1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: a 2x shirt = cute halter and skirt on: April 15, 2007 06:11:59 AM
That is some awesomeness!

The skirt is wonderful! And, of course, you can never go wrong with ICP ^_^
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Old Skirt = New Dress (A.K.A Easiest Recon in the History of the Universe) on: April 10, 2007 01:55:38 PM
This dress began its life as a long black prairie skirt that looked silly on me. But pull it up, add a thick pink ribbon, adjust the layering and viola! It has now been reborn as a lovely little black dress!!

and a more detailed shot of the skirt:

3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Pretty Yarn Falls on: April 10, 2007 01:44:21 PM
So, my friend has beautimous yarn falls she made, and the other day I was feeling bored and jealous of her hair...

So, naturally, I made my own:

These remind of George Clinton in the movie, PCU

And then I got really excited that they turned out so well and made these

The first pair are made of various colored 4-ply cotton yarn and a boucle bamboo yarn.
The second pair is made of blue & black fun fur yarn, rainbow colored ribbon yarn, and a bulky chenille with rainbow feathery-type yarn.

And now I'm practically out of yarn, which makes me sad because I want to make more  Cry

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My uber-cute new cell phone cozy!! (First post ever) on: July 20, 2005 04:10:31 AM
Hey, that pocket's a really nifty addition!

Thanks!

Absolutely lurrrvve the screen-cleaner.  Solves my hazy-make-uppy-finger-printy-screen problem!

Thanks! I got the idea when I saw some cell phone mascot that had some special material on it for cleaning the screen, and I thought, "HEY!!! That's a great idea! I hate getting face grease all over the screen when I'm talking!" so, yeah.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My uber-cute new cell phone cozy!! (First post ever) on: July 18, 2005 06:54:01 PM
Well, I was left alone in the house two days ago, and I came up with this. I made up the pattern as it went so it took forever, but it turned out better than I was expecting.

I used Sugar n' cream 100% cotton worsted weight in strawberry on size 3 needles over a period of about 6 or 7 hours.
