1  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 86 ENTRIES / Steampunk Art Doll on: May 03, 2013 03:35:35 AM
I made this doll for an Art Doll swap.    Her name is Countess Fedilia Cicily Plumb.

I really enjoyed making her!  She is fully jointed, right down to her fingers!  I couldn't find a single pattern where I liked everything, so I mixed a bunch of patterns together, and made changes to fit my fancy, lol.

Here is the link to the gallery of that swap. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=414625.0#axzz2SDmL5fSQ  She is posted on page 5.  And shoutout...my partner was "mightyminniemouse"!

2  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 81 ENTRIES / Pretty Peacock on: December 04, 2012 02:01:12 PM
I made this for a friend for a swap, and figured it would fit perfectly in this challenge.  Its a mash up of some of her pins on pinterest.  Inspired by these and this.

Its roughly 5 inches tall. And made entirely of felt, and lots and lots of embroidery floss.

I should have used the flash on this one.

Close up of peacock.

Close up of some of the details.

Hope you enjoy!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Simple dress for 4 year old on: April 10, 2012 06:21:39 PM
My 4 year old and I were going through my fabric stash when she announced she wanted a green dress.  We found some fabric she liked....and free styled a dress.  No pattern, just fun!  She loved helping make it!

Its actually really cute without the belt too!  I'll try and get a picture of it to post.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Treetop Angel on: January 09, 2012 08:31:18 AM
I made this for my parents tree for Christmas.  My mom said she wants to keep her out all year. Smiley

5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Father Christmas on: January 09, 2012 08:30:12 AM
I made this for my mom for Christmas.  His face is fabric sculpted. First time I had ever tried it.  I think he turned out pretty cute.

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Steampunk keeper on: January 09, 2012 08:27:28 AM
I made this for a friend.  Its my first ever steampunk project.  And I think it turned out alright.  I made with a papermache book from Michaels, polymer clay, acrylic paint, and odds and ends for added pizazz.

The picture is of an angel and a trumpeter.

7  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Tardis and Adipose on: January 09, 2012 08:23:39 AM
So, for a Christmas swap. My partner informed me she liked Dr. Who. (I had honestly never watched it) She had posted on her wist that she liked the "adipose" characters.  And she mentioned that she liked to knit.  I figured...why not put the 2 together!
So I made her a Tardis out of an altoid tin.  And a set of 12 adipose stitch counters to fit inside!

8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Dragon Eye on: January 09, 2012 08:20:49 AM
I made this for a swap at Christmas.  My partner said her daughter loved dungeons and dragons, and well, since I'm not as great at polymer clay as I want to be....I improvised.
If you can't have the whole dragon, what would be better than having their eye!

By far, one of my favorite projects.
9  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Magic wand on: January 09, 2012 08:18:51 AM
I made this wand for a swap, and just wanted to share it with everyone.

10  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Midsummer nights dream doll on: January 08, 2012 10:10:21 AM
