Cry  I've only done one swap and that was over 3 years ago.  I'll have to make sure I do some more this year so I can do the Christmas one next year.

if there is any other Canadian craftsters that sign up, please let me know.  It seems to cost twice as much when I mail things to the states.

Thank you.

The necklace is fully removable.  Its simply elastic sequins.  I just thought it needed a little bit of bling...lol

Very gorgeous!  Looks like artwork, until you look closer.  I think that is something even my hubby would like to see hung in the bathroom!  I hit this rocks!

My 9 year old daughter informed me yesterday while shopping that she wanted a sock monkey.  Her old one went missing when she was about 5.  Anyway....the ones at Walmart are $20.  Are you kidding me !?!?!
So, I bought a  pair pack of socks for $7.  And decided to make them for her and her cousins.  This one, is merely the first of at least 6 that I am going to make this next week.

Hope you like her.  I think she suits a 9 year old...lol

My DH thinks the eyes are spooky.  But our DD loves purple...so if she wants, we can change them later. I think they suit it though.

Thanks for looking.

520  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: First non-patchwork quilt!!! IMG HEAVY on: December 07, 2009 04:34:09 PM
Thanks ladies  Grin  Craftster friends always make things better...lol.  I was actually really concerned about the color combos.  But I showed it to my dad, and he thinks she will love it.

Starting to make another quilt in the next day or two, will be sure to post it.

p.s.  There are some amazing videos on youtube to explain quilting.  Especially the cathedral window.  I don't think I would have even tried if I hadn't been able to watch someone else do it first. Undecided
