1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / GUITAR HERO!!!!!!!! on: July 02, 2008 03:10:21 PM
My brother and sister just bought Guitar Hero Aerosmith, but I don't get into the Guitar Hero games as much as them.  So instead of playing, I came up with this.

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something.  I might even make some more like this.

Questions, comments & criticism appreciated!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / I can SEE when I'm sewing! on: February 23, 2008 08:53:39 PM
The corner of my room that my sewing machine is in is rather dark, and the lamp I've been using lately has no shade (the old one was too dark, so I took it off and forgot to get a new one).  I got inspired at the local craft store, and came up with this.

Lights on

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / One day, I got bored... on: February 23, 2008 08:20:52 PM
I decided my turquoise walls needed a little something, so I painted a tree.  I was planning on painting it brown, but first I had to do a coat in white to make sure the color turned out light enough.  Well, I really liked the way the white kind of glowed in the dark, so I left it.

Then I needed more "me" in my room, so I went through all of my parents old records, and nailed up all the good covers (I didn't want to buy 9 frames) and tacked up a few records.

I absolutely love the way everything turned out, and I can't wait to do more for my room.  I'm about to hang up Daddy's old guitar (which doesn't stay in tune and won't play clear notes, so don't worry) on the wall.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / whoa... are those LEGOS?! on: February 23, 2008 08:00:19 PM
I was flipping through a Teen Vogue and came across a Lego belt by Marc Jacobs.  I figured it would be way out of my price range, so I made my own, and it only cost $5 to make.

It closes with Velcro, and the Legos are attached with E6000. This is my first post, so comments appreciated!
