So at somewhere around 1 a.m. [roughly three and a half hours ago] i got the wild hair up my a$$ to attempt to make this [http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50712.0] dress as a prototype for a bridesmaid dress i'm making for my best friends wedding. which means i'm going to be getting pretty good at this whole dress business, since i'll be making at least three more if this dress works, and if it doesn't then another prototype, and another after that. . .anyway- i'm griping because it's 4:36 a.m. and i still have to clean up my kitchen but i wanted to sit down so i thought i'd post said dress on craftster
anyway so here it is, still strapless and un-hemmed[ ] but mostly finished.
[formatted for when the pictures get on the internet. . .]
the fabric i used:
my first [working] attempt at invisible zippers! and it worked! yay:
i think i may wear this for new years day at disneyland with my mom:
it's fully lined with muslin, since it's the only fabric i had that i was willing to use as lining for this that wouldn't make the white squares look funky. . .
any comments/feedback would be appreciated!!
