1  Re: Legend Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by feistymonkey on: November 07, 2010 04:36:02 PM
Here are the pictures from the package sillysmushyhippocake sent me. I loved it all. Sorry about the delay.

First, the trinket box with my favorite qoute from the movie!

She made me two necklaces, stuffed with legend artifacts. One has a unicorn horn inside and the other has unicorn hair.

And this one shows the clay labels she pressed to the bottles. Thanks so much, I love everything!

2  easy abalone bead earrings and bracelet set in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by feistymonkey on: August 29, 2010 11:01:02 AM

A friend passes some lively abalone beads my way and I finally got around to using them. The bracelet is on elastic for easy wear.

3  happy apple tree brooch in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by feistymonkey on: August 29, 2010 10:52:52 AM
made with felt and embroidery thread (and glue). Unfortunately destined to look worse on camera because I used felt made of recycled materials and every time I used flash the plasticy fibers reflected the light.

5  wire wrapped pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by feistymonkey on: August 29, 2010 10:46:08 AM
Basically a big beach rock wrapped in wire. Secured in back with a small amount of clear jewelry glue,  because I made it before I got my soldering iron and wanted to be sure that the weight of the rock didn't cause it to slide around in the wrap. I've made a few since but this will always be my fave. Sorry about the blurry photo. Getting pictures of small things isn't my strong suite.

6  Cute Stuff coin purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by feistymonkey on: February 16, 2009 07:30:32 PM
I made this coin purse based on the Cute Stuff book design, although I deviated and freehanded the bunny pattern. I'm not really satisfied with the zipper. I trimmed one end because it kept snagging, but now it doesn't pull closed as well as it did when I first made it. I'm writing it off as a learning experience.

9  basic beaded necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by feistymonkey on: July 14, 2008 06:48:45 PM
I made this quite awhile ago. Basic beading. Tiger Eye chips for the strand, and I can't remember what stone the pendant is made of. Very easy, but pretty and nice for fall. Excuse the kinks, I had it in my overstuffed jewelry box.

and again

10  Stitch N' Bitch flame hat in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by feistymonkey on: July 14, 2008 02:01:45 PM
I made this hat last fall and am just getting around to posting it. I used Lion Brand Homespun, which worked perfectly. Plus it was extra warm. Alas, this hat has since been swiped. Grr.
