1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A New Clutch! on: July 24, 2010 05:08:19 PM
I designed a new clutch this week. I really like smaller clutches to carry my personals in. This one turned out to be just the right size!

With a key fob!

2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Cobra Stith Survival Bracelet AND Belt! on: July 24, 2010 05:05:25 PM
Summer time and my boy is staying busy!

Ahhhh, I'm so proud of him!
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Monkey Fist Key Chain on: July 22, 2010 07:54:54 AM
My son is in scouting and really like tying knots. He recently learned how to make monkey fists and decided at the end of a key chain was the best place to put one.

He also made a cobra stitch belt. I'll post pictures of that soon. It is pretty awesome!!!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Black Bow Purse on: July 22, 2010 07:48:15 AM
I made this bag earlier this week. I used a tutorial found online for the base of the bag and went from there for the rest. I really like it!! The outside is made with black linen and the inside is black and white polka dot.

5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Liberty Lion on: April 12, 2010 03:43:59 PM
I came across this etsy shop...http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5062394. She makes the CUTEST stuffed dolls and she also sells the patterns (which I bought).
This one she calls Liberty Lion and I think she is adorable!

I hope you love her too!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Zipper Flower on: February 13, 2010 12:37:33 PM
I've seen zipper flowers all over the internet. I think their pretty cool, so I figured I'd set out to make one. After a trip to a local thrift store where I scored BIG!! I had all the vintage zippers I could hope for.

Some hot glue and a bar pin!!!

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Tampon Roll? on: June 19, 2009 08:12:45 AM
I had made a few crayon rolls when I came up with this idea. I know it's a little wacky, but I'm tired of digging to the bottom of my purse to find one of these guys.
Now they have their own little home.

Moving in

Folded over

Rolled up

Ready to take care of business

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New City Tote on: June 19, 2009 07:09:45 AM
Hey Everyone, I made this city tote last night. The pattern is from Keyka Lou. It turned out really cute and I'm really pleased with it. Enough so that I'll be making more. Let me know what you think....

Oh yeah, I made the key fob too!

a handy pocket to hold my phone and chapstick. The loop loops (really?) over the button to hold the pocket shut.
I made this wallet a few weeks ago. The colors are similiar to the purse, but the print is different.

Thanks for looking!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Toddler Backpack on: June 16, 2009 07:39:31 PM
I made this backpack for my godson. I'm pretty excited because it turned out to be so very cute. I purchased the pattern here http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24709681. It is a Made by Rae pattern and was very easy to follow. My only hang up was getting the fabric nice and snug with the piping. Any tips on how to do this other than sewing over and over and over again?

This picture reminds me of that plant on Little Shop of Horrors..."Feed me Seymour!"

I was thinking about making a crayon roll to go with it. They are super cute and easy to make.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / New Felted Bag on: October 13, 2008 08:44:31 AM
I stopped by Sally's (Salvation Army) this weekend and found a wool sweater. I've wanted to try felting for some time---mostly inspired by Cindygert, so when I found this sweater I was pretty stoked. It has no lining; but I did reinforce the strap with a strip of ribbon. The ribbon also adds some color. It was pretty plain so I put the flower on the front.
