1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Death's Playground on: November 12, 2013 01:08:57 AM

A final project in a school unit devoted to skulls. Made with three pieces of dark green paper and this great mesh-like paper from my local art store! 10"x10"

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Little Red & Big Bad: A Stop-motion short film on: April 28, 2009 03:32:04 PM
Made for a film class, this is the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood as told by Roald Dahl

Please tell me what you think of it, I'd love to get some feedback!

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Film Canister Diorama: Little Red Riding hood on: February 01, 2009 03:34:11 PM
Whilst putting off school work one day, I decided that I needed to find something interesting to do with all the empty film canisters I have lying around. Ta Da! insta-art! The trees are paper, all the other layers are gel samples for theatre lighting. Gluing everything in straight was tricky, but over all I'm happy with it. Smiley

Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf?
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Snowflakes a la Colbert, Buddy Holly and cherry branches. on: December 29, 2008 12:20:37 PM
It occurred to me quite late at night that the bear snowflake would be a good idea. I've since become sort of addicted to making these snowflakes

This one is an homage to one of my favourite eras, Buddy Holly and the glasses themselves, because I love them all so.

Anyone familiar with the Colbert Report will understand. Bears are the number one threat to America! Cheesy I don't actually live in the U.S of A, but I'm sure they're up there on our list too.

This one took me forever and a half to finish 'cause it was so delicate, but I'm rather fond of the way it turned out : )
Some of them are a little messy : / By the time I was finished, however, I didn't want to fix them...
I'd love to hear any opinions you have!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Giraffe Ears/Headband! on: December 12, 2008 01:07:21 PM
Made for Halloween, lost shortly after ( Roll Eyes) and recently rediscovered. Oh how I love them so!

I painted a dress too, but it's not particularly spectacular...

I wish I could wear the giraffe ears all the time.
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Harry Potter Window Cling on: August 31, 2008 04:42:08 PM
I seriously still can't believe I did this. I really don't know why I did it, actually, other than that I had just finished re-reading the 7th HP books and, most importantly, I've finally come to terms with the ending (mostly) and I don't hate Harry Potter (the character) anymore! Yay!

Also, I just noticed that he totally has Elvis-lips.  Cheesy
8  COOKING / Dessert / Synchro Cupcakes on: August 31, 2008 04:20:05 PM
I made these cupcakes for a friend's going away party.
Unfortunately, it was pretty late by the time they got put together, so the pictures aren't fantastic.

This was also the first time I've ever made or worked with marshmallow fondant.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Bottle cap and resin pendants! woo... on: July 14, 2008 12:36:38 PM
I had totally forgotten about these! I went on a total resin binge a little while ago, but these are the only ones that I kept.

My favourite is definitely the scuba diver.
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / A papercutting? /Indy Mogul Tribute...? on: July 11, 2008 05:49:37 PM
I'm not actually sure what this would be called... Anywho, I'm a huge Indy Mogul fan and today I decided that I needed to express my lurrve for them...
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's approx. 5" tall by 10"
