So I found this 1961 coloring book online and literally LOST it at work one day it had me cracking up!

I was getting frustrated with how child-like the lettering was coming out, but then I decided I kinda liked it as it added to the whole 'coloring book' feel of it all.

I am SO in love with this necklace! I made it on Friday to wear with a new lavender shirt I bought for a first date with a guy I utterly adore.

It definitely brought me luck - I had a wonderful time!

I was SO excited when I got home from work yesterday to a package on my doorstep from Sailorgirlbonk! I have a 3 day weekend so it was the perfect way to kick it off. I was spoiled rotten and loved every single thing in it! I had so much fun sprawling everything out on my bed and letting my cat play with everything as I kept pulling more and more out! She included: A cupcake purse, cupcake beanie, bookmarks, small and large picture frames, luggage tag, buttons and a cupcake box full of cupcake recipes! How wonderful! I LOVE the purse and tag - definitely my favorites. Thank you!!

I made this lil guy for a friend going through a Divorce. While it is a rough time, it can have a positive side also. I wanted him to have something to remind him that there are good & bad aspects to every situation in life!

My second official cross stitch project! No pattern used ... and it's taken from a scene from 'Jane Austen Book Club' (amazing movie!)

Finished! Messed up a bit on the spacing on the first two letters so they are a bit longer than the should be. I'm so proud of myself though - thanks for inspiring me to try cross stitching!

Yes - we went there! Using Alton  Brown's vanilla marshmallow receipe we now folded cream cheese into the mix right before pouring them into 7" circle tins. Before we poured them in we had a grahm cracker crust sprinkled into the bottom.

They are a little bit more dense than the original marshmallows but they truly do taste like cheesecake lol.

This next set is from a Pee-wee book I scored at a used bookstore this weekend...I loved this show!!

I've recently become OBSESSED with making tile coasters! Which is quite nice since i'm a broke college student and Christmas gifts will definitely be handmade this year lol.

Just purchased tiles - found pretty paper - sealed with mod podge then coated 3 times with a polyacrylic to make them last...any flat paper I come across is now a potential coaster!
