I hope that you don't forget to take the screen away when you light a fire, because the glue may melt and ruin this beauty. I like how the flowers contrast to the green walls and fit perfectly to the curtain. Great work!
12  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Black painted walls.... yes black!! on: April 15, 2008 05:38:52 AM
I see a red room and I want to paint it black... *humms* I would like to see some before-pics, but I admire your result already!

Yeah, that farbic is great and I still have half of it left so there will definetly be more.  Grin

Getting nice fabrics here in Germany is really hard, that's why I order from the USA... I'm currently awaiting some tattoo fabric and one with carebears!

Hi folks,

I'm quite nervous as this is my first post here presenting something I made and english is not my mothertongue. So please, if I make any mistakes: Forgive me!  Wink

I wanted to show you the new pencilskirt I made after this pattern (sorry, it's german) and with my lovely fabric from the US. Sorry for the flashy snapshot-in-the-mirror quality, I will take better ones when my boyfriend is here on the weekend...

side view, see how straight it is cut?

It's great, just simple and sexy at the same time. Congrats!

lenelein - i used three yards for the straps (they are each 9 feet long) and then the circle skirt really only takes one yard.  if you want a longer skirt, i suggest getting two more.  so five, at the most Smiley

Thanks, that "forces" me to follow the temptation in the mall again! ^^

Do you remeber how much fabric you needed? I'm trying to use up my bought fabrics but I'm just not sure if 2,7 y are enough?!
