1  Autumn tornure in Costumes: Completed Projects by lenelein on: October 07, 2013 12:56:51 PM
I went to a Victorian themed ball last month and absolutely needed  Roll Eyes a new outfit for this occassion. I love sewing historical stuff and think that nothing flatters a female figure better!

My autumn tornure was made from poly tafeta in red and black with beautiful embroidery in fall colours. The pattern is frankensteined from a Truely Victorian pattern and real historic patterns found on the web. The corset was sewn after a pattern I took of a bought corset (which I'm in fact wearing underneath). The decoration are fake leaves and flowers I got in the dollar store or on flea markets. My friend helped me a lot as I'm not that good with arranging flowers... Enough with the talk, on with the pictures!  Grin

2  skully Pencilskirt (my debute here, btw) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by lenelein on: April 03, 2008 02:52:47 AM
Hi folks,

I'm quite nervous as this is my first post here presenting something I made and english is not my mothertongue. So please, if I make any mistakes: Forgive me!  Wink

I wanted to show you the new pencilskirt I made after this pattern (sorry, it's german) and with my lovely fabric from the US. Sorry for the flashy snapshot-in-the-mirror quality, I will take better ones when my boyfriend is here on the weekend...

side view, see how straight it is cut?
