I really love all the red, you did an awesome job; I especially love the kitties! Wink

I thought about using fabric possibly next time?  I still may experiment with it, since I think it would be less likely to bubble/wrinkle.
I'm glad more people are doing this so we all don't waste time/effort/$$ with trial and error. Smiley

I like yours better than mine Smiley I'm not brave enough I guess. They look awesome!

^I ended up pinning the last one down as well! So the spray adhesive causes wrinkles too? That's a huge bummer; I was already planning my next idea. Sad

I absolutely LOVE it! I alway thought turquoise and red looked amazing together. Seriously, I would just sit in that room for hours if it were mine. Smiley

Thanks, the more I look at them, the more I like them. I am a little disappointed that they wrinkled. However it was still a fun project. I'll have to look into that foam core board for next time. Smiley
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / First time wall art with Styrofoam. on: July 21, 2008 03:43:26 PM
Today I felt crafty enough to try something completely new to me. Styrofoam wall art. I was inspired at Michaels!
Materials used:
~ 3 -12"x12 sheets of scrap book paper.
~ Styrofoam sheet 5/16" thick
~ "Styro Glue"  (white craft glue)
~ 5/16" wide teal ribbon
~ straight pins (to adhere the ribbon to the edges of the Styrofoam)

Sorry about the photo quality...
While it was a fairly easy project, I'm not very satisfied with the glue I used. It came recommended in the project instructions, but if you look closely, it made the paper wrinkle. Sad
After further research, (thistothat.com) I discovered that 3M 77 would have worked better.
Ah, there's always next time. Smiley

Awesome job! I am doing something very similar, but with Styrofoam.
What kind of paste/glue did you use to adhere the print to the foam? I was told to use white craft glue, however it is making my paper wrinkle Sad .
Any suggestions??
