So pretty.

Makes me wistful for my childhood days in the 70s.

That is beautiful, I'm going to have a lot of 'grown out of' board books in the coming years - I'll have to try that.

There are a series of "My Very First Book of..."  Eric Carle board books like 'My First Book of Colors", that have split pages inside that could make a very interesting scrapbook.  I bought ours at Marshalls for pretty cheap.

Love the color combos!!!

But as a former band geek (or is it once a band geek, always a band geek), I would second the adding some journaling, even if it was at a page at the end.  Fifteen plus years after my band days, I couldn't say I would remember what is in pictures.
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Painting on Metal Coffee Mug?? on: April 02, 2008 11:41:22 AM
I have a metal insulated travel coffee mug that has a corporate logo that I would love to do something else with.

Is there a particular paint that would work on metal and still stand up to hand-washing?  Could I decoupage onto metal?

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

This is my first post too and I am a mom of twins.

Normally I stay far, far, far away from decorating based on licenced characters, but your rendition of pooh and piglet is fantastic - it really is capturing the original story and illustrations.  Most pooh stuff is the disney-fied modern pooh, repeated over and over without any energy to it.  Yours has life and love to it and I would find it enjoyable to be in this character room.  Most of the character based decorations, toys etc just has a lifelessness that makes me shudder.  Yours is the exact opposite and so refreshing.
