1  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Gauge all wrong on Go Anywhere Cardigan!! >:( on: January 04, 2005 03:10:17 PM
I am so sad. This is my first attempt at a sweater. I checked my gauge before I started, and it was right on.

It is supposed to be 5.5 sts per inch, and I have 7sts per inch.

I guess I'm just a tight knitter. I wonder if I have any other options besides frogging the whole thing.

Why is it that I have to learn all lessons the hard way?

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / tweed reconstruced tote on: September 27, 2004 04:29:32 PM
Here's my tote bag I made out of a men's suit coat (so I didn't have to make pockets). I used the lining of the coat, too.

I saw the idea on the forum somewhere. Great fun!
