1  digital & traditional fashion illustration in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by fishfacewannabe on: August 07, 2008 02:54:07 AM
Hi!
This is my first time posting on the art side of craftster  Smiley

These were for a fashion illustration course I took, so the references were magazine photos.  The  first was blue prismacolor and pastel, the second ink and watercolor, then they were both imported into illustrator for further development.

Any critiques are always appreciated!

2  2nd (& final!) Planets and Moons Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by fishfacewannabe on: August 06, 2008 10:53:43 PM
Hi!
I posted my first planets and moons necklace last night, and I finished the other one too, so I'm posting it too.

Link to the other necklace - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=261592.0

This one is also interpretations of different planets and moons.  I treated different kinds of metal (mainly copper but there is some brass, bronze, and silver too) with etching acid and different heating techniques.  Cut into circles, strung, and voila!

3  Planets and Moons Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by fishfacewannabe on: August 05, 2008 10:20:48 PM
Hi!

I made this necklace by treating different kinds of metal (mainly copper but there is some brass, bronze, and silver too) with etching acid and different heating techniques.

I cut them into circles and strung them like so -

They're supposed to be interpretations of images of different planets and moons!

4  cast and granulated silver pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by fishfacewannabe on: August 04, 2008 09:24:14 PM
Hi!
This is my first post of something I've made, I hope you like it!

I cast the pendant in silver, then granulated in the groves.  For anyone who doesn't know, granulation is when you fuse, or melt, silver spheres onto a larger piece of silver.

It's not supposed to look like anything, I usually work with abstract organic imagery.
