I love this! The fact that it's a something instead of some super specific art form is really great to me. I think the best stuff comes from that sort of thing.

I didn't think I'd get so much response, what a happy accident. 

A little note about image stabilization. You have to be really careful about whether you get optical stabilization or digital. Optical is much better, mainly because digital gives the picture extra background noise (the gritty stuff you sometimes see) and messes with just about all the controls you set in place for the picture.

I know this may be late, but DON'T buy the Olympus Stylus 760. The thing has great reviews, and it's 7.1 megapixels, but it is junk. Garbage. Trash. You get my point.
The image quality is awful and I hate it. After this camera, and the fiasco over my last olympus, I won't be buying them any more.


Buy a Fuji, they're very user friendly and for the most part very good.  (Sorry for the mini-rant!)
