31  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: lots of knitted food (and far too many pictures) on: January 05, 2011 03:05:09 PM
These are so cute. Too bad my boy doesn't find food interesting. He is more fascinated with housekeeping like dish washing and vacuuming. Which works for me, I guess. What a good cousin you are to be making such wonderful playthings.

aubergines = eggplants? I guess you learn something new everyday. Thanks for posting!
32  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Open "faced" ice cream sandwhich on: January 05, 2011 02:53:02 PM
These are so cute. Can you actually put sandwiches in them? That is so amazing. Your sandwiches will never be squished again. Though they may be stolen for being too cute. I know I would steal them. Smiley

34  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: 2010 Hot Weather Sewalong! on: June 07, 2010 09:39:25 AM
I figure, 'why suffer with modest clothing in the hottest of months because I am bigger. Who actually likes how their arms and back look. So I made this shirt this week. Here's the pattern: http://diyfashion.about.com/od/diytops/ss/Apron_Top.htm

So here is the first thing that I have sewed from scratch and I am actually brave enough to wear. Yay.

36  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: 2010 Hot Weather Sewalong! on: June 06, 2010 08:55:25 PM
I am so excited. I just completed something I can actually wear. I am a novice sewer so this is a big moment for me. Unfortunately my bubby is on the computer so I will have to wait to post my pictures.
37  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Pimped my sons ride on: June 05, 2010 06:13:12 PM
Awww. I can imagine what a contrast of the skulls and your son's face. Scary and cute. Smiley

I hope the strap doesn't bother his neck anymore. And he has a smart mom that know how to save a few bucks by using her sewing machine.

40  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: sailor jerry swallow on: June 05, 2010 12:15:00 PM
I don't know what a sailor jerry is, but this is amazing. It is hard to tell how big it is, but the detail must have taken forever. The colors go really well together.
