11  Re: I LOVE FALL! in The Swap Gallery by bonzablue on: November 06, 2008 11:40:01 AM
Thank-you Mqorty I received my parcel this morning. I was very surprised seeing as my parcel took forever and a day to get to you !!!!

Well I opened the big parcel ...

mmmm suspense ... more mystery ....

After tearing through all the bubble wrap I found I was VERY spoilt. I found a large piece of fabric ... not sure what it will be in the end, it is my favourite colour ! Then there is a cushion cover full of leaves - at the moment it is on my sofa in the lounge but may end up in my bedroom. The diary is fantastic - I love writing lists so this is PERFECT ! The leaf is on my ornament table already.  The file is full of my quilting course notes. I think I am going to copy the bird off the file as an embroidery when I have time !!

Thank-you very much for this swap - it has been great !

12  Re: Choc Unan Rd 3 Gallery of Chocolatey Goodness! in The Swap Gallery by bonzablue on: November 05, 2008 07:00:13 AM
The postman has just rung the bell and has given me this Big, White Box.

So I dropped my crocheting, grabbed my camera and a pair of scissors and opend the box.

And inside I found four elephants snuggled up inside.

Here they are all sat together. The elephants each represent a member of my family. Anna-Kate is the brown one, Greg (my hubby) is the brown spotty one, I am the white one and Luke (my son) is the blue spotty one.
We love them - they are sitting on my bed as we speak !

Camelama knows that I LOVE this fabric - so I LOVE this bag and will use it ALL the time !

An action shot of all the candy ! YUMMY !!!!! I am afraid that the smores bar has already vanished and the BUG Hershey bar has already shrunk.... Oh and those 2 lovely pencils have also disappeared .... I think I will have to search my daughter's pencil case later !!! The beads will come in handy too ! Have I said how much I LOVE beads ??

And a WHOLE collection of fibre and a drop spindle ..... another new hobby to try ASAP !!!!

THANK-YOU Camelama for a wonderful parcel and making our day special !!!!

13  Re: Jar of Whimsies Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by bonzablue on: September 24, 2008 04:38:43 AM
Well the postman rang this morning - I was not expecting my jar ! I was expecting an order from a patchwork shop .... so as I was opening this box I was thinking - how did they get my order in this box? I ordered loads of FQ's, thread etc !
So WHAT a surprise I had to find my jar of whimsies....

This is what I unwrapped..... a BIG jar full of goodies, a great print and a lovely sewing postcard.

And here is my stash of whimsies!
Lots of pretty little things! Mirrors, beads, buttons, small cards, scrabble tiles and sooooo much more.

I have recycled ths box the jar came in DollyMixx - so expect it back !!!

I am off to the post office on Friday so I will post it then .....

THANK-YOU very much Dolly Mixx - I have plans to use some of the goodies already.

This swap has been great fun - but now I hope my jar is OK LOL !

14  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap # 9 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by bonzablue on: September 16, 2008 05:02:04 AM
And my magic yarn ball arrived today ... it must have had skates on as we (my partner and I) were not expecting it to arrive until the end of the week .....

Well I saw the red van pull up outside and he brought in this HUGE box ....
This is where I really get swappers anxiety as my ball fitted into an envelope (eeeekkkkk)

So I opened it up (as you do!!!) and found a lovely card inside ..... here is the picture of the card ....

So am I a true crafster - as I first folded all the lovely tissue paper in the box (!!!) to reuse later !!!

Here is a picture of the magic yarn ball unrolled. Rhymesworange was kind enough to add another ball of yarn as well as loads of goodies for my two (Anna-Kate and Luke - they are not home yet ..... but will love the parcel!)

You can see the folded tissue paper on the right of the picture. The bright parcels are for my children ... Thank-you very much ....

And here is my loot - I was VERY lucky ....

Rhymesworange stalked me really well - the crocheted tooth is for Luke - who lost his tooth for the tooth fairy - so this big tooth will keep his tooth safe! I love that ....

Then I have lots of candy, stickers, butterflies, ladybirds, and orange flower broach, leaves in autumnal colours, a large ring (!!!) I wish it were real LOL ! mmmm ladybird stamp, pin with beads all in orange !

If I have forgotten anything it isn't because I don't appreciate it it is just that I am REALLY spoilt !!! I can not wait for my 2 munchkins to come home now !!!

THANK-YOU Rhymesworange ..... this has been a GREAT swap !!!

HUGS to all BonzaBlue

16  Re: The Candy/Sweets Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by bonzablue on: September 09, 2008 05:27:06 AM
My postman knocked VERY loudly (as it is very windy and poring with rain!)
He gave me this -

First I was calm and collected - and found my camera ....opened the box and found this ...

The first thing I looked at was a beautiful card - I have two cats so I LOVE this card ! Did you draw it camalama???

Then I took out all the loose things ... there were so many I hope I don't forget any .... there was loads of candy ... I have NEVER seen any of the candy so it is all new to me ... although I have heard of some of them on here like the nerds and the tin ...I think that is mints ... I am sooooo happy to get that !!!
Then some scrummy soaps (which are soooo real I am glad you put soap on the packet!) and some bath confetti and some little tablets which dissolve in the bath to make trains ... my kiddies will LOVE that !!!
After all of that .... I opened the white package...
And out popped this ...

These are my FAVOURITE colours in my FAVOURITE fabric I LOVE LOVE LOVE it !!!!!  At the moment it is full of all the candy as I want to hide it from my two vacuum cleaners (I mean children!)
But I will use it a LOT as it is a perfect size for wallet, keys and inhaler ....on the school run and it will go so well with my winter coat.
But wait that is not all .... (I knew I would forget something ....) there were two post cards in the loose selection!
The purse was FULL of goodies!
Two soaps which look like biscuits , the mint tin, one stripy measuring tape, two erasers which look like donuts, a zippered purse with cupcakes and a lovely bright pink .... I fear I will lose this to my daughter if I don't put it to use NOW LOL !
And inside the cupcake purse there was a bird which was on my wist!
And last but not least there were three cloths hand embroidered!!!

Here are the last photos of EVERYTHING .... shout at me camelama if I missed anything out.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stunned by this package .....What a GREAT start to my week .....

The bird which was on my wist and 2 soaps .... don't they look real?

The embroidered cloths ...beautiful!

I think that is all !!!

I was so spoiled - I love everything - everything will be used !

Thank-you so much Camalama!!!!

Here is the bunny rabbit lounging about in the sunshine ....

And some birds in the tree !

I hope they are happy in Australia !

Well - Angeltreats spoilt me !
I recived my parcel this morning ....

Here is my parcel - I opened it straight away ! I love the tape !!!

Here is everything altogether - a pattern of a dragon was included - but my son was reading it while I was taking photos....
The wool is lovely ...now I am thinking of a great project worthy of its use !

Here is everything altogether.
I had two blonde moments this morning while opening the parcel - I did not realise my cute little cupcake pincushion had a face ..... and my cute Olympics Panda was hidden in a cappacino box... and I thought Angeltreats had sent me a box of cappacino !!!

So here is a picture of the pincushion showing her face ....

And last but not least here are my two friends in their new home .... so I see them every time I sit at my seing machine ...

I was very spoilt - and I love them all !!!!
Thank-you Angeltreats ....

Now I feel bad for tarteaucitron as I did not wrap up my amigurumi for you ..... so here begins my swap anxiety !!!

This was a GREAT swap thank-you XXXX

A very happy Bonza Blue XXXX

19  Pink, party dress ... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by bonzablue on: June 21, 2008 12:45:27 PM
My daughter wanted a party dress for a party this afternoon.

I know the dress is a simple set of rectangles - but it is the first time I have had the confidence to make a dress with out a pattern and I like the elastic added in the front...
Anyway my daughter likes it and that is what matters - here she is modelling it .
