This is so cute!  I love the pompom trim.
32  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: I see squares... everywhere on: February 01, 2011 02:54:39 PM
This looks awesome!  Were all your yarns the same weight?
33  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My new fave scarf (total upcycle) on: January 27, 2011 12:54:30 PM
I like it with the ends out, it gives it a little more character.  And what an awesome idea for the leftover shirts.

It looks like a completely different dresser.  And it's awesome!

This is awesome!  How long was your original rectangle before you cut it out?  I want to make one for myself now.

Ahh!!!  That is awesome.  I recently saw sharktopus at a bad sci-fi movie viewing party and it was hilariously awesome.  Kudos!

hahaha!!  That is very ingenious of you and I think it came out wonderfully.
38  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Kid's Aprons on: December 05, 2010 04:46:07 PM
I made some kid's aprons for a craft fair at my work I was in.  There are no before pictures, so these are the aprons I had leftover.  I made 2 sizes, 2-4 yrs old (15'' by 15''), and 4-8 yrs old (16'' by 19'').  I found these sizes for commercially available aprons, but I don't know how well they fit kids of different sizes.  Anyone else have a better measurement?  The ties are ribbon and for the waist are about 24 inches long each.

Fabric pattern is upside-down.  Supposed to be flowers.  Oh well.

I think I am going to rip the pocket off and sew a plain color on.  The main fabric is a bunch of recipes.

The fabric pattern is sideways... oops.

What do you think?
39  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Halloween wall hanging on: October 20, 2010 04:30:17 PM
I bought a lot of halloween fabric for my birthday this year and my first project was a wallhanging.  It took about a month to get through it.  I made  up the layout myself and quilted it with wonky lines.  The lines looked better on my test fabric because it was smaller, but it looks fine here.

Here it is hanging on the wall above my craft desk.

40  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Free motion machine quilting! Yah, how sweet it is! You need to try this! on: September 29, 2010 06:00:50 AM
I love free motion quilting too!  I actually bought the foot then afterwards realized that I already had one.  Oh well.
