It's my own pattern Don't know why If I use other people's patterns, there's a tendency those projects end up as UFOs. My own patterns, I have to finish the projects in order to see how they look like.
Thanks girls for all the nice comments. I just posted the shortcut of the tilted windmill in my blog, it turns out to have more pictures than I thought, since I photoed very step, so I won't repost them here. As for the tulip tute, I'm still working on it, it will come soon.
Thanks for your nice comments. I'm really glad you like it
I have a detailed photo of the windmill in my blog.
I'm going to make more fabric flower recently, still have lot of scraps. I can photo the process and make a tut, if you are interested.
As for the tilted windmill, I used a shortcut, don't have to cut many triangles, just cut squares, sew squares together, and make a template to cut off blocks, then sew them together to form windmills. It's hard to describe without pictures. I still have some leftover blocks, I can photo them and the template I made, and post in my blog, or maybe here too if there're not too many pictures to upload.
Here's something I made recently, a tablecloth. After cutting, I got piles of squares, with diagonal grain. I always have difficult time to throw away any fabric pieces, no matter how small they are. So I made these tulip buds with some of them.
