2  Tilted windmill tablecloth and byproducts in Quilting: Completed Projects by yimi945 on: February 23, 2009 03:43:34 PM
Here's something I made recently, a tablecloth. After cutting, I got piles of squares, with diagonal grain. I always have difficult time to throw away any fabric pieces, no matter how small they are.  So I made these tulip buds with some of them.

 Thanks for looking

It's my first trapunto work, hand-quilted.  I really like the 3-dimensional look, how do you think?

7  Manly Ipod cozy and cellphone cozy in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yimi945 on: May 18, 2008 07:12:40 PM
Hi, girls and guys, remember my "manly black& white Ipod cozy"?
I finally made these two cozies, thanks for all you suggestions. Making these things is addictive, I have to stop myself from making more, I have no idea how to deal with them if I make too many  Roll Eyes
The one on the left was made of a piece of home decor leftover, this is the one I'll send to him, since it matches his style well. The right one was claimed by a girl  Cool

Thanks again for all you suggestions and kind words

Thanks for watching, more photos in my blog: http://yimi-handwork.blogspot.com/2008/05/manly-ipod-cozy-and-cellphone-cozy.html

8  Manly Ipod cozy in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yimi945 on: May 01, 2008 02:20:26 PM
I made this as a gift to a guy. Hopefully it's manly and he'll like it.
How do you think, is it manly enough?  I haven't send it out, if it's not good, I still can make another one.
Your comments are really appreciated.

I uploaded more picture in my blog, http://yimi-handwork.blogspot.com/2008/05/black-and-white-ipod-cozy.html

10  Garden notebook cover in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yimi945 on: April 22, 2008 07:18:22 AM
This year I have to keep tracking the growth of all the plants in our front/back yard. Trying to make this job a little bit fun, I made this Garden notebook cover, maybe a bit girly. Smiley

Sorry, this is only the back cover, there should be a front cover and a inside one. I uploaded them together to the gallery, but don't know where were the other two.
