21  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Decoupaged/Painted Cherry Blossom Cabinet on: February 19, 2008 10:19:09 AM
Thanks ridiculously ironic, I just sold it.  I am moving out of state and have to get rid of ALL my cute revamped furniture.

Oh well...out with the old, and in with the new!!
22  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Decoupaged/Painted Cherry Blossom Cabinet on: February 19, 2008 09:53:28 AM
I decoupaged/painted this beat up wooden cabinet that i got for a garage sale for $5.00.

It looks a little lumpy in the picture, but it was still drying...I smoothed it out as it dried, so it came out pretty good!

I purchased the cherry blossom paper at the paper factory.  I used the original knobs, just painted them red.

Thanks,
Zan

23  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Paper Flowers on: February 14, 2008 10:51:51 AM
I made this paper flower arrangement with floral tape, wire, glue and (of course) paper.

Thanks!
Zan
24  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Bluebird Painted/Decoupaged Table on: February 14, 2008 10:43:24 AM
I painted/decoupaged this table which I got for $2.00 at a garage sale.  The bluebirds came from an old painting I had done, which I was ultimately sick of.

Thanks!
Zan

25  COOKING / Dessert / Heart and Crossbone/Heart and Bat Wing Cookies on: February 14, 2008 10:29:57 AM
I just wanted to share these very large heart cookies that I made for a friend.

I used a cookie cutter from target for the hearts, but then cut out the additional pieces with a knife.  I used a standard sugar cookie recipe.

Whoops...I hope that works.  I'm new!

Thanks,
Zan
