2121  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Curse of the Two Fabric Pieces on: May 04, 2008 01:19:44 AM
Nope, you're not alone.  It happens to me on my home sewing machine and the industrial overlock I have.  I've tried pining the fabric also but......... it does help some. Not an inch but enough that it's not straight and that I know that I'll never be able to get the patterns matched.  What a pain.  Glad I'm not alone.

This is a great idea!!  Two problems solved.  Your HOA and a great garden storage that looks great!
2123  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Nutella, anyone? on: May 03, 2008 10:59:23 AM
a girlfriend gave me this recipe years ago after I tasted and loved it.  I don't know where she got it but she's been doing this for years.
You put the cream  and coffee together and mix til the coffee dissolves.  Then you add the Nutella and mix it till it's mixed well and starts to get thick.  A mixer is very useful here. I used a whip the first time and it nearly killed me.  It won't be thick yet.  Put it in a serving bowl or individual serving cups and put in the fridge for a few hours (I usually do this the night before. I like to serve it in individual "creme brulee" cups with a little whipped cream on top and grated chocolate.)  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the explaination on how you did the "writing".  Guess I can't read.  Did you make the same thing for your Dad?
Again, great cake!!!

This is so cool!!! Great first time too.  I'm sure your Dad is gonna love this.  Can I ask if the writing on top is also fondant?

What a wonderful transformation.  Looks so much better after the tea.  More realistic.

This is fantastic!!!  I love the retro look.  The cabinet looked in great shape before but the after is incredible!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!  You make it sound so easy but you can see it was alot of hard work....it paid off.  (Love that sign above it!)
