Thank you for the recipe.  I've seen this all over the net and have wanted to try it.  You've made it look so simple and it was.  Thanks.  I made it and they made it to the freezer.  DS popped over for a visit and took them home.  Straight from the freezer. lol

Oh, this is cool.  I love the design you made with it.  How "strong" is it? Can you put things in it?

Love your idea of a removeable slipcover.  Thank you for explaining how you did it.  I have 3 outside cats that adopted me and when it's cold they like to sleep on the porch.  In a fit of panic because we had a very cold spell, I made them a square bed like thing with (I think it's called) batting (or quilt filling) inside of two pieces of scrap fleece.  Because they are outside cats and one  cat in particular is simply a furball the bed is nasty with fur and mud.  Thank you for this "tute".

lil_abi, thank you so much!!!  That's a great idea.  I'll be trying these out for Friday when the troops get in.  I'm jealous of your chickpea cutlets!!! sound great.  Come Friday I'll be really missing my humus and pita. Only a few more days.  I'm still looking for diabetic deserts for poor hubby.  Also anyone got a good strawberry creme\mousse (flourless) cake? Or just the strawberry part.  I've got the sponge cake part.  Thanks.
Found the recipe I'm looking for.  It's called Strawberry Mirror Cake.  I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

These look absolutely delicious!!!  That cake may be 6 inches wide but it looks a mile high.  Beautifully executed.

Again, thank you VeggieJess for the inspiration to get this done.
This is what I came up with.  I decided that if I've been using a shoe forever then I'd make a long shaped one.  Also I used batting (I think that's what it's called ) inside and made a little bag and put pebbles in it then sewed it up.  It's kinda wonky, but will do.

Here is an action picture.  I really needed this door stop like forever.
