1  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / Handmade Christmas Ornament Swap - New Zealand only on: October 26, 2009 09:12:27 PM
Hi everyone.  Last year I ran a handmade Christmas ornament swap for kiwi participants. I had been wanting to participate in some of the US-based swaps, but the cost of international postage had put me off. The swap ended up being quite successful and I have decided to organise it again. It's free to join in.  If you are interested, the details are on my blog here: http://twentycentmixture.blogspot.com/2009/10/handmade-christmas-ornament-swap-for.html

Sign-up closes November 6th.

Hope to see some of you signing up!
Louise

3  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / Overlocker advice on: March 16, 2008 03:52:36 PM
Hi everyone.  Long time lurker but this is my first official post.  Can anyone give me any advice on overlocker brands that are readily available in NZ?  I am in Wellington.  I've got a 30 year old Elna sewing machine but I'm not wedded to the Elna brand!  Would like to buy a new, 4-thread machine but not outlay too much $$$.  Any suggestions?

Thanks
Louise
