I need my logo digitized, and the embroidery stores here start at $60 to have it sent off to be digitized.. Just wondering if anyone here does that, or has used an online place to have anything done. I am downloading Sophie Sew right now, but the thing is I don't have an embroidery machine, so whatever I digitize will have to be taken to a professional. Does it matter what program you use to digitize, if I don't embroider it at home?

I'm no expert at crochet, but I make my share of scarves every year. I really want to know how to do a drop stitch. I know it's usually done in knitting, but knitting makes me angry If there is anyone that could point me to a picture tutorial (I'm a visual learner, lol) I would really appreciate it. CP or HP? I've always been interested in it, but lately my mother in law keeps bringing it up because she has goats. She keeps saying, "You and I should start making soap and lotion with the goats milk."

No matter how hard I try, I can't keep my white clay clean when I'm working with it. My hands stay washed, anything I lay my clay on is clean, but it never fails. How do you all deal with this?

Or get something close to that? I love the look and the thickness of them. TIA!
