Well, I'm already claiming lydiaharper for some supplies, so why not add a crafted item to the package I'll be sending!

I claim lydiaharper for Day of the Dead/Sugar skull themed art work

2nd claim this round.  0 sent.  0 recieved.

BRB with list!

Hey there.  I live in the U.S. with my dear hubby, sweet kiddo and my pug.  Allergies are in our house, but shouldnt affect anything sent to us because the allergies are mostly dust, grass, pollen, mold and other outside things.  We do have a cat allergy in the house and sinus issues though, so please no strong smoke smells.  Cat friendly homes can claim us, just please try to limit the cats contact with the items.

Colors/patterns: orange, yellow, pastel  or neon.  Old grandma floral fabrics, 70s style fabrics, batiks,
Others:  fun fur yarns, strong perfumy scents, lace & frilly things, doilies, puffy paint, glitter, fabric paint that cracks and chips.

please note the paintings/wall art items I would like them to be size 8x10 and on those stretched canvas boards that have the canvas stretched over a wood frame.  Please no puffy paint or hard paint that cracks on the shirts.  Thanks!

I am just happy to get cards...a lot of people no longer send them because everyone is in touch via social media...I love getting cards and hanging them up in my foyer for all to see...I used to be able to fill a whole wall, but now it is just one small closet door... Sad

I know exactly what you mean.  I use to send cards to all my close family, parents, siblings, aunt, uncles, great aunts/uncles and a couple cousins. Then send them to the inlaw side of the family uncles, aunts ect.  And you know what, I would get maybe 7 in return.  I remember our first Christmas at our new address. I sent out a ton of cards along with a annual christmas letter.  You know, so everyone had our new address and knew how we were doing.  I bet we received maybe 5 cards that year too.  I refuse to do the whole social media thing.  Facebook, twitter all that.  Nope, aint doing it.  I will do email to my mom and my childhood friend.  But thats it.

My cards for the card exchange might not make it out by Christmas, but they will go out.

I actually made mine via snapfish's website.  So they are made by me, I picked the backgrounds, I took the pictures & edited them on a photo program, then added them to online card, picked colors for the actual card.  But, then snapfish printed it all.  I hope that counts for handmade.  I was thinking some might be making them via-cutting out papers, stamping, drawing on blank cards.  But since Im not a paper crafter I make mine via snapfish every year.

My turn to add some photos to the gallery!!!  I received from mom2em today.  I will be waiting until Christmas to open the stocking.  However, there was a gift wrapped in fabric that didn't fit in the stocking.  So, I went ahead and opened it and placed the stocking under our tree for Christmas day.  Smiley Thanks mom2em!  Oh, and I loved your address label on the box. What a cute little dog!  Is it your dog?

Here is a group shot of the goodie filled stocking and two gifts that werentt in the stocking.

And here is the gift that I did open.  It was wrapped in the fabric and I thought "I'll open just this one little gift since it wont fit in the stocking."  Here is what I opened.  A Hollow book and inside the book was some owl bookmarks.  I plan to use the hollow book to stash candy in for a rainy day.   Grin
