1  Re: OWS Round 113, 114 & 115 Gallery & Discussion in The Swap Gallery by littlefawnpug on: June 01, 2015 06:38:54 PM
Alright, my turn to share a photo of my craft area.  I am pretty excited to share my crafty nook because in our old place I had to cram my stuff in one of those 'mini' closets.  Plus, my clothes where in there.  So I basically only had room for a tote of supplies.  Now though, I have a whole lovely closet!  I love it very much.  Okay now....its one of those closets that has 2 sliding doors so we'll do the left side first.

My $5.00 yard sale cubby filled with yarn.  The little square baskets are filled with left over yarn scraps.  Im going to use it all to make scrappy afghans this year.  Notice one scrappy afghan in the center cubby that I already started. Cheesy  The top shelf in the closest shows my fabric.  And you can see half of my little embroidery machine.  That little beauty is an oldie so its not the best but, it was only $20 at a yard sale and its very fun to use.   Cheesy

This picture here is the right side of the closet.  The top shelf shows the other half of my embroidery machine.  And you can see my sewing machine.  Which I acquired in a round of OWS many years ago.   Cheesy  I forgot who sent it though-but, if your reading this I just want to say the machine is still running like a champ.  The long hanging cubby holder contains a plethera of knitting/crochet notions.  As well as embroidery stuff, felt, cross stitch fabric other random notions.  The hanging bags beside it each contain a WIP.  One of which is the kiddos WIP.  The colored bins are empty, theyre just stacked there waiting to be used.  The two totes under it contain some faux fur pieces and the hubby/kiddos paints, drawing things as well as our laminator printer paper, tape, glue and other bits and bobs.

I didnt take a picture of my book shelf because it mainly consists of my harry potter, Percy Jackson and other books like that.  But, the bottom shelf has my craft books and a big binder full of patterns that I printed off of Ravelry.  I usually sit on the couch and craft or in the floor.  But, we have a small table that we use for home school.  I sometimes craft at it and the hubby and kiddo will draw and paint at it.  Anyways....thats my craft nook in our house.

I received a pug-tastic package from rscowtown today.  Even with all our flooding the package remained safe and dry at my doorstep.  I received not one or two, but THREE pug wall art pieces and together they spell PUG.  Isnt that neat?  I would of never of thought of something like this.  These lovely pieces will be hung above my corkboard.  Its the perfect spot Grin  Thank you rscowtown!

I received my round 112 package from alliekat914 today.  ''The Force'' was strong with this package as the customs trolls were not able to keep it for themselves.  Behold!  My Star Wars themed package!  I got the most awesome Star Wars blue print fabric.  The kiddo is already thinking up what he wants me to make with it.  I also received the coolest Star Wars key chains that talk!  Sqeeeee!  And to top off the great package is some really yummy candy from Canada.  Thanks alliekat914.  The kiddo and I have been drooling over this package!

I wanted to post an action shot of my quilt being used.  My little darling Buddha has 'pug approved' it.  Cheesy  Tonight I plan to sit on the couch snuggled up in this blanket while the hubs and me watch tv.

Its my turn to post photos in the gallery.  edelC made my geezer gift and I am still in shock with how much time, thought and care went into making my lovely gift.  It is so wonderful and lovely I wish she was here so I could give her a huge bear hug!  Well, technically it would be more like a huge squirrel hug because I'm such a light weight.  LOL.  But, you get the picture.  She used my most favorite color scheme and silhouettes of my most favorite dog breed in the world Pugs.  I'm still sitting here grinning ear to ear about it.  Even the kiddo was like "Oh my gosh mom!  That is so cool!"  And when the hubs gets home I am sure he will think the same.  And.....as if this amazing quilt wasnt enough she also packed some delicious candy from her country.  Yum!  Thank you much edelC for my package.  You have made this geezer super happy and I will treasure this quilt always!

So, I took the quilt out of the package and left it folded for the first picture.  I was leaving the front a surprize until I was ready to take a front view picture.

Then, I slowly unfolded my quilt to reveal the front and low and behold what I seen was so amazing I could not help but to stare in silence at it.  Totally awestruck with the time, care and thought that must of went in to such a wonderful quilt.  Its actually bigger then the picture shows too.  I folded some of the top of the quilt backwards so it would fit on the couch for the photo.

I received my claim from Averia.  The tracking said it arrived Saterday actually, but with the holiday weekend I didnt walk down to the mailbox until this morning.  She claimed me for a pug case that we talked about and as an added bonus she sent some real tree fabric!  Now, I have a lovely pug case for my kindle and the fabric will be cut into squares for a quilt I am making for my hubby.  So excited!  Thank you Ave!

9  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap Rd. 10 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by littlefawnpug on: December 20, 2014 08:09:07 AM
Alright, its just me and my dog awake now so, I have time to post my second stocking.  This stocking was from mom2em.  Now...on with the goodies!

Here we have a tiny little critter in a jar.  I could not get a good picture of it though because my camera hates glass.  LOL.  So, apologies for the blurry photo.  The kiddo thought the little jar with a cork was awesome.  Now he wants me to buy some so he make some things with them.

next up we have candy and cocoa.  Love this.  The kiddo and I have split them because he loves them too.

Then I opened a fox ornament.  This is unbelievably adorable.  Then a delicate little flower candle and wood tickets.  The kiddo took them, Im  not sure what he plans to make with them but he snatched them up and said "Oh, I can use these."

Now we have a dog fabric pouch, lotion and a magic yarn ball.  Just look at that cute little dog fabric.  Smiley

Then there was a whimsy jar.  These jars are so fun.  If you have never had one, you need to do swap for one, they are pretty awesome.  And some socks.  The tag said they had aloe in them.  Which would explain why they are unbelievably soft.  The kiddo even put them on and was like "Oh man, these are soooo soft!"  haha.

Next we have a pug calendar book.  I just love pugs.  So, Im always happy to have anything pug related.  Cheesy  And some paper clip book marks.  Im a huge reader, so book marks are always great.  And a little trinket charm.  I bet this would even work if you used it as a zipper pull too.

And lastly, I opened my Hogwarts acceptance letter.  Man, its about time too.  I was started to think that I would never get this in the mail.  LOL.  Hogwarts here I come!  Cheesy

Thanks mom2em for the goodies.  Smiley  I think I'll frame the Hogwarts letter and hang it on the wall in all its glory.

The kiddo talked me into opening my stockings early.  Grin  So I have goodies to share.  First up is my stocking from sweetyetevil.  I already posted a photo of the stocking and unopened presents so, here's all the opened goodies.

First was a fox pin board.  Cute little fox fabric.

Next was a whimsy jar!  These things are so fun.

Then I opened some cork ornaments.  A very interesting use of these.

Of course candy was included.  Not pictured is some every flavor jelly beans.  The kiddo grabbed them to keep.  Thats alright though because Im not brave enough to try them.  As some of the flavors were sweaty socks and boogers!  Cheesy

Pug charm with with interchangable necklaces.

oil markers.  How funny because we were just talking about the one I had.  But now I have a whole set of them! I will have a ton of mugs decorated with pugs now.

Next is some fun coffee post its and a most delicious smelling pencil.  It smells just like gingerbread cookies.

Also included was a cute fox zipper pouch, a handmade chap stick and a little holder for it.

And just when I thought my goodies couldnt get any more awesome I opened up a mauraders map!!

Then I opened pug coasters!  Ah yes!

Then some soft glorious yarn!!!

And then.....there was the most awesome pug cards!!!  Be still my beating heart!  I adore these!!

My final gift I unwrapped was a very cool apron in tattoo fabric!  Oh yeah!

There was also a little sock monkey and some Christmas straws.  Currently my dog is playing with the sock monkey and the straws are already being used.  Smiley

Thank you so much sweetyetevil.  This stocking was super fun to open!  Everything is great!
