21  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: mp3 Case on: February 21, 2011 05:52:00 PM
*Raises hand* The day after I got my new ipod nano, I dropped it onto concrete and chipped the corner of the screen. >_<

I love the button strap for holding the earbuds, genius.

I love slouchy hats but can't wear them because I have a great fear of them falling off, I so envy people who can wear them and look cute and stylish instead of paranoid and twitchy!

This hat is lovely!

Demi, I don't know about anyone else but I wear slouchy hats almost every day and I keep them on with a couple of bobby pins.

Also, cute hat and congrats on learning a new technique!
23  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Buckle tai baby carrier! on: February 18, 2011 12:51:16 PM
This is adorable! I love the idea of the buckles and the backpack-like straps. When my son was a baby I made several mai tai carriers and actually sold a few too. It would've been nice to have ones that I didn't have to tie.

These are so cute! I love the contrasting pattern on the pockets.

I have question, though, where did you find a belt to fit a toddler? Mine is tall and skinny, and nothing fits right, but I can never find a belt either!
25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: patchwork lace shirt (lots of pictures, semi-gibbous-inspired) on: February 15, 2011 08:40:34 PM
That is absolutely gorgeous! Usually I don't like anything with lace on it, but this is amazing! Especially considering all the work that you put into it. Great job ^_^
26  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: A brain slug (made of my own free will) on: February 12, 2011 08:08:59 PM
This is awesome! My family has a running joke about brain sucking aliens, too, and my mom and brothers would love something like this.
27  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Monster Art Post - Very Image Fat! on: February 02, 2011 01:30:39 PM
These are awesome! I love the first sea creature, which kind of reminds me of a zombie mermaid, which, is a really cool concept in general, and the monster family. I love the bright colors. You should definitely do commissions, if you had these on etsy or a similar site I would seriously consider buying them.

Thank you! I'm very proud of it. ^_^

I love the first batik that you did when you were 14, it reminds me of a stained glass window. I would love something like that to hang in my living room, which is disturbingly bare. I love how colorful all of your work is, too. ^_^

Wow, these are great. I especially like the skull with the tentacles and the age progression portrait with the kitty hat. You don't expect to see older people wearing stuff like that. Great job!
