1  Georgia / Georgia: Central / Re: Atlanta Area Crafting Group on: September 15, 2004 10:12:57 PM
Aww shucks, and I just sent in my questionairre tonight!  Something about FALL just makes my glue gun want to dance, so please count me in if anyone's interested in getting together before the holidays!  I'm in Conyers, and don't mind driving 40 min or so to a neutral territory.  I would be willing to offer up meeting space at my place if enough show up at West Egg to follow through with another meeting.
I'm not really familiar with Howell Mill, but I'm guessing it's a little bit of a drive for me.  I can swing it though...weekends are better, weeknights are fine (but only if we can do it late enough to miss rush hour!).
2  UNITED STATES / Georgia / Re: best flea markets on: September 15, 2004 09:56:54 PM
two that i know of in the NE area:   Pendergrass Flea Market (which has sadly gone the way of the dollar store vendor for the most part)
and the J&J Flea Market in Athens.  The J&J still has that flea market feel outside among the $10 table vendors, or at least it did the last time I overhauled my wardrobe...I'm hoping to go set up there again soon (can't beat a Saturday of a Georgia home game!!), I'll follow up if its worth it.

I hot-glued all my pez guys to a length of painted wood and slid it on top of my kitchen cabinets, but I love them in the bathroom!!  So fun!!!!  I can't imagine what else I thought I was saving them for!
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: i found this old door and I don't know what to do with it... on: September 15, 2004 08:54:34 PM
a table or desk are great ideas!!  or if the door is hollow/lightweight you could suspend it from a ceiling with wire rope to create a mini-loft storage unit.  (is my lack of floor space obvious?!)
