Thank you for the lovely package, feelix! Sorry its been ages since I received and I didnt post pics. >.<  Major technical difficulties.

So, I got these happy goodies:
A shoulder bag, four coasters, two zip pouches (one of which I have been using as a pencil case since I got it) and a crochet hook roll

I also got some extra HK fabric, some Ziploc baggies, an ice pack and some Tupperware. I didnt get a pic of them, as they are down in the kitchen happily in use, but Im told that if you shop at target, you know what they are anyway.

I received my bento goodies today!
I'll try to post pics later when my camera and computer are friends again.

*Edit for piccies!*
all the crafted items together, there's a lunchbag, chopstick holder, desert recipe book, and a utensil holder like the ones i made jessica.marie that hold a spoon, chopsticks, fork, and napkin in the back. there's also fabric to make a simple traditional drawstring bento bag.

the inside of the lunchbag, it's nice and insulated!

the decoupaged chopsticks and their holder

all the store bought goodies- hello kitty icepack, ziplock bags, and tupperware, bamboo mats, flower shaped silicon cups, and The Manga Cookbook, which I have been really wanting to get! It's chock full of recipes I can't wait to try ^_^

and my extras, pretty pretty necklaces and a pair of earrings

Thanks so much jessica.marie! I love it all!

*sorry about the hugeness of the pictures, I'm still new to photobucket and can't figure out how to resize them.  Undecided

MAF R2 gallery

Package #1 from my lovely new friend tattoedcrafter

Local stuff- a Reno tank top stenciled in state colors, a stingray tank from a local tattoo shop, pressed framed local flowers, and a Reno water paperweight.

Favorites- a Stephen King novel, The Corpse Bride film, cherry blossom bath fizzies (now where did I put that tub stopper? ^_^), and raspberry vanilla lotion (it smells amazing!)

Best stuff- a knitted shopping bag, an origami star bracelet, and a crochet cherry blossom clutch (Ive been using it to hold my Archos, its awesome!)

Extas- an insanely HUGE lollipop, four kanzashi flowers (Im itching to sew them onto my new tote bag already) and a melted plastic bottle bracelet. There were also some chocolate raspberry sticks, but those mysteriously disappeared [in mah belly!]

Oh! I forgot to take pics of the wicked cool photo album she sent. Its all origami style. Mad skills. Ill try to share the joy of that later.

6  Tokidoki, the black swindler, and fiery patchwork in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ruledbyvenus on: June 18, 2008 02:11:31 PM
Three bags in one day! Whoo!

One of my swap partners introduced me to tokidoki, and I just love the little punk rocker girl. And my printer finally decided to co-operate with me, so I made her into an iron-on patch that I appliqued onto a bag.

Okay, I am a MAD fad of Yamapi. And I absolutely loved his acting in Kurosagi (which translates into the black swindler). So when I stumbled across this wallpaper over on news_jpop, I knew I had to use it on something.

Now I just need to find a Nobuta pic, and I will be happy in my fandom.

This last bag was inspired by this post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=249875.0 Except the bottom part ended up too tall, and the middle not tall enough, so I added some yoyos to try to  make up for it. I still think I missed a bit.  Undecided

7  yoyo mania! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ruledbyvenus on: June 18, 2008 02:00:20 PM
So, I've been really anxious waiting for my exam results, so I've been spending the past few days crafting like a madwoman.  I made about 100 yoyos, and the first 40 became pins. Here they are!

Some pics I found on deviantART, others are Mizna Wada or Mizuno Junko.

*sorry for the blurriness of the pics.  Embarrassed stupid finnicky camera*

Hope you like!

8  robot fabric backed-afghan in Knitting: Completed Projects by ruledbyvenus on: June 08, 2008 09:54:31 AM
I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I made this afghan using my knitwit daisy loom. I was testing out a graph I drew. I lined it with a plain blue cotton fabric and backed it with a robot print cotton flanel, that I also overlapped to the front to make a border. Even with the border it's really small. The completed size is 26" x 36".

*sorry it's blurry*
here's a close-up of the robot's head and some of the border.
